This rocks. Listening to my first GR game this year. 3 quick goals, Bingo-Bango.

Tried that link Dolph, thanks. For whatever reason it's not working for me, but I'm fine just listening.

This team really is fast. No matter who do we call up, it's always a fast skating kid.

Sounds like a lame double-minor call on Tatar; bad move though as we would have been on 5-3 if he doesn't respond.

I don't think he's ready offensively yet. He needs another season.

Holland needs to move some guys and get some of these kids in the line up. Nyquist and Andersson are locks for next year, Tatar should be but young guys like Ferraro, Glendening and Sheahan are starting to be viable call up options and probably deserve some NHL time.

Sheahan is quietly having a really good playoff as well with another point tonight. I think Ferraro should see NHL time next year, he could have a Helmesque impact on the team

Good point, we got Bert, Sammy and can always re-sign Danny Cleary.

No one besides the big 3 really stand out except for Mursak and he isn't an NHLer. I like Callahan more. He's a good skater and hustles, I think he could push for a roster spot in two years. Sheahan has slow feet, he needs to work on that big time.

Shoulda mentioned him as well earlier. Callahans turned himself into a legit defensive player who gets used to hold leads with the goalie out now. That combined with his speed, toughness and agitating could get him a shot on the fourth line soon as well

I think one more year and Ferraro should be up. He's definitely a Babcock player. It's harder to project Sheahan and Glendening. Both of them need to show a bit more offensively next year.

The problem is they'll have Jarnkrok, and he'll probably only play a year. Jurco could be coming up on some time in Detroit as well. I'm not sure the Wings would be comfortable running such a young lineup. I mean, they should be, but they're the Ken Holland/Mike Babcock Wings, and they love scrappy veterans.

Sheahan is one of the best skaters we have in particular when you look at his size. Not sure which guy you are watching, plus he almost never loses board battles.

Sheahan has had a very good playoff. His assist though should come back, that was a D-man giveaway and one of the more curious scoring decisions I have seen.

Agreed. I made a mental note a few times during the game that he was pretty damn fast. I think the Griffs are a pretty fast team from top of bottom. I feel like there are a number of guys on this team that Babcock is really going to like.
