And throws his weight around pretty good. Not scared to get in scrums or drop the gloves if he has to either. Hes short but heavy and it shows when hes hitting out there or guys try to hit him

Yeah he has dumped some pretty heavy guys, either on reverse hits or just them bouncing off of him. I know some of them are in decline but when you repel a Mike Komiserak or Paul Mara, it shows a certain degree of strength. He just has a very low center of gravity and understands leverage.

Mrazek lets in a soft opening goal off a shot from Ashton.

Mrazek has not looked good at all during this series.

Maybe he's hitting a wall with the amount of games he's played. The Mralies have a more veteran team too

Two softies let in by Mrazek, 0-2 after one. Even period.

That second goals hurts. 2.4 seconds left in the period.

AA2 is joining the Griffins on a tryout, curious to see if he sees any playoff ice at some point.

Doubt it, and with the way Mrazek has played their next game could be their last.

Beauty rush by Tatar to make it 1-2. And 1-3 right away.

I agree. There are a lot of Wings fans who were ready to anoint Mrazek as the next goalie and the goalie who was going to play backup next season. He has played subpar this playoff series while Macintyre has played solid for Toronto. He is stealing game 6 right now. I guess we will see how this plays out, but I am not brimming with confidence in Mrazek right now. This is the playoffs and he should be playing out of his mind. He has just been average.

I think Mrazek's rookie season will be looked on as great no matter what, but it's evident there's some technical adjustments to be made. He'll only improve by playing, and that'll be in the minors.

I don't think we should desert Mrazek just yet. This season has been a unique workload for him, and he was great for almost all of it. Let's also not forget that the GR defense is not the best. They're sort of small and don't stand out in any one way. TBH I think that's the team weakness, their lack of talent on D right now.

Mursak scores, and then Tatar ties it after an incredible pass by Pare.

That was a great third period. I am glad that they found a way to close out this series.
