Yeah guys not a single goal except that slap shot from 50 feet away with nobody screening him. Give your head a shake!. And his terrible rebounds that lead to empty netters? All the D's fault and not price. Not our golden boy he is god and should never be questioned. **** off

Momentum is like toothpaste.

Once its out, its sometimes hard to get it back in.

That soft goal had every Habs player and fan flashing back to the games where we gave up a quick string of goals.

And not to be disappointed in that belief, it took less than 2 minutes for the Sens to score again.

I really think that the team has little faith in Price and Price has little faith in himself. Kinda sad.

Honest question guys (feel free to ignore it if it is too sensitive) : Is it possible that Price can't handle the pressure in Montreal?

I would still go with him tomorrow but if he can't get the job done AGAIN, we should go all in with Budaj.

As for the lines, I think that the kids are ready for the show :

Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Gallagher
Bourque-Plekanec-Gionta
Prust-Desharnais-Ryder
Moen-Halpern-White

Gorges-Subban
Markov-Tinordi
Bouillon-Diaz

50 shots and the d played well tonight no blown coverage or anything like that.

That's exactly what i am saying it's 100 % on Price tonight.

I don't disagree with him, coachs are too PC these days. But after something this grave, you're don't send head-hunting messages.

Yeah I wish... losing consciousness with a concussion is not a good sign. I think he's gone for the playoffs.

I agree, I also hated his comments. At the start of the week he was saying he was reviewing the whole habs team and how to play against them. He KNOWS who #61 is, he's just an *******.

If we are going to pull out a win, it's going to be with the Slovakian backup, Gionta on the 4th line, and Moen and White benched.

Horrible game by Desharnais and Diaz.... enough with these midgets already.

Gorges needs to get his head out of his ass... should get out moved this summer.

Price needs to stop letting in one to two bad goals a game... his leash is getting very short. Time to put up or ship out for Price as well.

Could have won that game on the 5 on 3 at the end of the 2nd. Too many weak efforts by:

Price - stand up!
Ryder - did not even try to win a battle
DD - crap again.
Patches - too many wreak passes. He needs to play way bigger.
Diaz - he looked nervous. What a horrible effort.

This team is led by Gally, Galch, Eller and PK. Sadly we lost one of them tonight. Dress Dumont and Kristo as Ryder is a joke. He could have played with a dozen eggs on his body tonight and none would be broken.

Future is bright but we are done for this season.

Actuallyt today...I would say he is. Yes, others like Max and DD and Gorges didn't show up. But we shot 1 million times, we didn't need Max and DD tonight. And by giving the goals he gave, he totally deflated the team. I guess this team isn't too strong mentally, but at one point, Price keeps doing it. So players say to themselves "Here we go...". I will blame everybody in due time. But today, this one is on Price. And on Anderson's greatness.

You don't win alot of games when you score 2 goals. Anderson was flopping around all night and the habs shot on him. He's totally on the other side of the net and they just shoot it wide... Blaming this on Price is kind of ... Yeah, dumb.

When its all said and done, he has to be stronger, even though he bailed us out in the first.

First goal: No chance
Second: Gorges stands there and gives them a clear shot, Gorges might have deflected it too. (This is the only one that could be blamed on Price)
Third: No chance
Fourth: No chance, shouldn't have counted

Price needs to be better, but he didn't get any help. Relax people. The focus should be on the poor officiating and the turnovers by (mainly) Diaz and Gorges.

The positive was our shots on net. We can definitely keep it up but we still need to finish more and screen anderson more.

The habs simply gave the game away with turnovers and it sucks to lose that way but it's the truth. I have a strong belief they'll be ready to go tomorrow.

Just for clarification two questions about Eller:
1)Was it said explicity that he was concussed?
2)If not, was he ruled out anyway for tomorrow?

If he just has a broken nose and a missing tooth, he'll play.

Martin was a terrible tactician, stuck in a hockey system that was ancient and not appropriate for our players on this team.

Therrien Part II is an excellent systems coach. He had the Habs playing the best hockey I have seen in Montreal in many years. He is fantastic with the rookies and younger players. But like Carbo, his undoing will be his stubbornness with certain lines/players and his short term memory loss regarding several of his players and the roles they played to get us to the top of the East.
I agree with most of this and I admire the self-control he has exhibited to date. I wish we would have seen Eller on the PP more than Desharnais but that opportunity is behind us. And I can't understand Bouillon on the PP either... even if it is for a short shift

I really think he would like to see a different lineup on defense next year... I know that I would

Gorges and Markov looked like crap tonight IMO and Diaz was overmatched all night long and played awful. That's how I saw it.

If Anderson was flopping, Price was triple flopping AND a rebound machine. 'Cause we could even NOT talk about the goals he gave and only talk about the ones he almost game by giving such stupid rebounds and being out of position. You don't solely judge a goalie's performance by goals. If somebody is lucky, it's Price. Started well but then it went bad real quick. And that's Price this year.

According to Twitter reports it is a broken nose, dental fractures and a concussion. My guess is that he is gone for the year
