It's being held up at the lab of CSI: Miami but don't worry, it's coming.

How exactly can you say that? He was completely non-existent, and he along with Ryder contributed nothing to the first line. Regardless...losing him and Patches is not good news for game 2.

Moen More chances that Blunden scores one, IMO.

I think this is THE game that DD has to step up. If he doesn't then I don't see him with the team in the long run even with his contract.

He had speed and he had some jump to his game, definitely was one of our best player IMO. Dunno if I'm the only one who saw that though. I'm usually the first one to blame Gionta too.

I don't want to make excuses but it's very likely Gionta wasn't healthy to begin with yesterday. No matter what you think of him he's usually not that passive.

MacLean re Gryba hit: "Grow up."

This coming from a guy whose team hired a forensic investigator to claim that Cooke intentionally used his skate blade to injure Karlsson.

Poor Leafs, now we have another team who is more worth hating than them.

I beg to differ in my opinion on that... he waits for his chances.. he doesn't create a lot of chances for himself.. as a goal scorer you can't just wait for chances to be generated for you all the time, you have to go to the areas where there will always be a chance to score (in front of the net)...

I'm more worried about Lars

You know what.. this is awesome.

As a resident of ottawa this is what makes me hate this city a bit.... the passive aggressive attitude... the Sens think they're the better team, but they sarcastically go on this whole "underdog" rant before the series starts.. comments like this show their true colours, and it's time for the habs to put the sens in their place.

I was out yesterday before the game getting beers etc. wearing my habs shirt... I was getting death stares... not one person had the humanity to look me in the eye or make a passing joke... this town is the passive-aggressive capital of Canada if not the world... even the homeless people have more confidence here... the only person who spoke to me about my shirt that wasn't a habs fan was a homeless dude... or maybe he was a habs fan.. he was slurring his words a little...

I disagree, if anything Gionta is notorious for shooting too much, not waiting for opportunities. He's a volume shooter and while he's not physical anymore he still does occasionally crash into goalies. And yesterday he wasn't even spamming off target shots like he usually does.
