Patrick Friolet ‏@PFrioletRDS 2m
Marc Dos Santos sera nommé entraîneur du @OttawaFuryFC qui fera son entrée dans la NASL en 2014.

Not sure I like this move for him. I think Dos Santos should of have stayed in Brazil. Was building himself a name there

He might have missed living around here. Who knows.

They WILL be competitive. They'll have a ton EPL players on loans and as DP's. They'll be downtown where the stadium will be jack full and they'll be able to sell directly at Yankees stadium.

That btw is one of the few things that IMFC marketing department neglected, why not sell tickets at the Bell Center, like right in front of the Saputo stadium for example? Your potential clients are there.

Happy for Dos Santos but damn he is an awful speaker.
and New Yorks addition is definately a huge bonus for MLS market in the Status.

Looking at the ticketmaster page, looks like this weekend's match is nearly sold out. Hope thats true, last game was a bit on an embarassment.

What do you mean by being downtown?

Part of Dos Santos interview

You often talk about doors in your journey as a coach, is the Brazilian door closing on you with your move back in Canada?

MDS – Absolutely not. Nobody knew me when I arrived in Brazil, I was able to make a name for myself and set up great contacts. Today my name is stronger in Brazil. In the week I signed with Ottawa a big Brazilian club came up with the idea to bring me on their first team’s coaching staff, but I had already committed to the Fury and my word is important. The doors are open for me in Brazil, but now I’m focussed on leading a club that still has to hire a player and make it a NASL powerhouse.

Nesta confirmed for tomorrow, Camara and Brovsky probable. No clue what the formation will look like. Will that "save" anyone for Vancouver or vice versa?

No surprise. He was on loan, they need to make space to bring Kovermans back, and he was not playing that great.

Maybe he wasn't good caused he played for a city that sucked. Maybe an experienced coach and quality vets is what he needs..

Just had this random thought go through my head.. How great would it be if we win the CONCACAF Champions League & during the FIFA World Cup we end up playing Atletico Minero. Have Nesta end his career playing against Ronaldinho

Then all we need to do is get Ronaldinho here and have him convince Kaka, no?

If this makes you feel any better, I was watching a video of Nesta, and in the related videos there was one on Ronaldinho. Then one thing led to another

You're right. Not in NJ. But the stadium will not be close to downtown. What are you talking about?
