That dastardly ice at the World Championships!

I was watching the Team Canada vs Team USA game today and I noticed Gagne had two, maybe three solid scoring chances only to have the puck bounce off his stick.

Forget the goalie robbing him on these chances, its the bloody ice!

There was that 2 on 1 he had with Nash in the Second where he would've had the puck right in the slot with the Goalie moving, but *bounce*, puck hops over.

He should have at least 3 goals on the tournament with a few extra assists, but that's the way the cookie crumbles (to paraphrase Stewie from Family Guy)!

This game took place in Innsbruck where the ice is fine, no one complained about bad ice there.

The problems with the ice occured in Vienna, not in Innsbruck.

That's not true. According to Pierre McGuire, the ice at Innsbruck is terrible.
