In fairness, he hasn't been our worst player...

Not sure if that's a compliment to him or an insult to the others...

Also why the **** is Kassian on the ice. He does absolutely nothing whenever he's got the puck or is on the ice. We need speed and skill, not slow and big.

I don't get dressing Kassian. It is not as if he could catch any of the Montreal players to hit them, so he is basically a big pylon out there. It seems every time we try to muscle teams around we get burned on the scoreboard.

Either step it up in the third or punish them physically. If they go down by another goal I say they focus on giving them pain.

I hate watching these games. I don't mind losing when we're outmanned. But the team isn't even back checking at times. It's awful to watch.

To be honest Montreal is setting the physical tone in this series. Ottawa needs to step it up. Currently not good enough for a playoff series for many of the secondary guys.

Exactly. He adds absolutely nothing to the lineup right now.

Seems like a perfect game to test the lineup with Kassian. It never seems to work though.

Not allowed touching a Habs player. Penalty! Penalty! Penalty!

Ottawa won't win another game this series. It's not in the NHL's script.

Yup.

We're hesitant to throw hits on the forecheck. It's the playoffs, you can hit a second too late and nobody will call you. Smith and Kassian and Neil need to exploit that.

Exactly. It looks bad, but if the sens get one early they have the whole period to tie the game.

Karlsson hasn't been good since the beginning of the series. Michalek sucks in the playoffs. Alfie is washed up. Turris sucks. That is all

Btw, Conacher scratched?

They always play their best in the third. Would love to see Turris create some offence.

I agree, Ive been disappointed in Neil and Smith thus far with their hitting. I have a feeling at home its going to be different though.

Problem is our guys don't know what they are allowed to do now. Throw a clean hit on Eller and he happens to get hurt? Suspended!

Subban leaves his feet to contact Neil, play on.

The boys don't know what they are allowed to do now...
