I just thought about it... And it was pretty good for the first time in a long time, right?

It was the pacific that destroyed us...

Great. Finally a decent in-division record, and realignment basically moves us to the division we had the worst record against.

Sharks/Kings/Ducks are 3 amazing teams though and it's just unfortunate that they are all piled in the Pacific.
I'm sure Calgary isn't excited either.
Yotes say "Same ****"
And Nuckleheads know they aren't getting the division crown anymore.

Our record against our new division:

Vancouver: 3-1-1
Calgary: 2-2-0
Anaheim: 0-3-0
Los Angeles: 1-2-0
San Jose: 0-1-2
Phoenix: 2-1-0

Total: 8-10-3

It could be worse I guess

I hope MacT can bring in some size so we can shut down the Thornton's and Kopitar's that we'll be facing more next year.

Exactly. MacT knows what he has to do, and I sure hope he can do it.

MacT will get to the draft and free agency and state "We are open for business!"

I'm excited to play the Eastern teams..I still believe its an easier conference

winning 15-18 of 30 against Eastern teams next year would be pretty darn good

Crossover to Division B might be our best chance: col, min, wpg, chi, dal, nsh, stl. Playoffs =stl, chi, min, edm?? Then we would get beat up, but at least we'd make it

Doesnt matter. The harder the better imo.

We have to learn to compete with and beat any team in the league.
Enough with this mediocrity.

Play the best teams, beat the best teams.

It sucks but at least we'll be moving away from Colorado. They will be good when we are good.
