Realizing it now, Kesler should be our Captain.

Handing him the C would have aided his maturity as well.

I wouldn't re-sign Raymond even if he accepted $2 mil per year, he is useless in the playoffs.

Going into the 3rd I'd make the lines

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian
Higgins - Roy - Kesler (I would keep it the same, Kesler is starting to get fired up)
Burrows - Lapierre - Hansen
Raymond - Ebbett - Weise

Kesler and Luongo have been outstanding. The rest of the team is skating well, but we still aren't shooting and crashing all that much, which is the only way to generate more chances. Hope we get some of that in the third. That and less pure unadulterated idiocy from the officials.

Kesler has some fire, I love it.

Sedins and Burrows should be ashamed. We won't win if they can't finish. Burrows is going ghost mode as usual in the playoffs. He always is laboring and looks tired.

Nice hit by Kesler, but he's been a no-show otherwise. You people are ridiculous. Sedins are generating chances and had a great period, I thought.

Team just can't seem to score. Need to get someone in front of the net for a rebound. Wouldn't that be novel...

Why are we singling out players? The entire team has shown a complete inability to score.

Whatever play that Hansen tried carrying the puck with speed into their zone is getting shut down right at the blue line.

Saw that several times this game from different players and it's just not working for us.

I think all of the 4th liners have been very good, especially Kassian. If Burrows is still on the 1st line come 3rd period then AV should just be fired when this game ends. A monkey could coach this team better at that point.

The Burrows and Sedin calls are unforgivable.

Canucks need Kassian, Burrows and company to get a little greasy around Hasek and try to throw him off a little.

I think Kesler is getting a bit distracted. His team has been unable to score and so he's lost focus a bit, running around. I like his intensity, but he shouldn't be skating across the ice to get in a hit like that.

There's no offense here. It's barren.

And yes, I hope the Canucks happily let Raymond walk this off season. No guts, keeps turning away from the heavy traffic areas - excepting that one on one battle with Thornton, which ended predictably.

Players frustrating me to no end:

Edler
Bieksa
Hamhuis
Sedin
Sedin
Burrows
Alberts
Ebbett
Kassian
Roy

Wait....would have been easier to list those that are playing up to what we expect.
