Hertl is a nice player, i envy San Jose for getting him.

Sweden is the same old, bad in the first game but only getting better. I can see that we actually will be playing for a final this year as they always is better when they don't have any winning pressure on them.

Joel Lundqvist must be the better looking part of the Lundqvists, i think king Henrik evny Joel.

Here is a song dedicated to him:

Great work in the offensive zone, too.

Nice debut for Francouz

Well that was interesting. At least something entertaining from our team.

Landeskog needs to relax. No need to fight when we're ahead.

This is the way he needs to play to be affective. He doesn't have the hands or the vision to be a soft smooth player - he needs to go balls out destroying people.

Nice game so far. Lots of grit and emotion. Oh, Granberg is a beast.

Well, this is a whole lot more comforting than last nights debacle. Good intensity.
But someone seriously needs to remove the master of platitudes Leif Boork. How can he be rehired year after year? He's totally pointless.

I agree to the extent that he should be physical. What he doesn't need is to take stupid penalties or get into any dumb fights.

Edit: Especially not with refs who'll call a penalty for just about anything.

How does the refs miss that one?

E: @iann Yeah, that was just dumb, haha. Most obvious hooking I've seen in a while..

Wow. Great effort by Tre Kronor. Good to see after the opening game.

I'd say we deserved that game. Interesting to see us clogging up the neutral zone, I think that's how this team needs to play going forward.. Less flash, more trap. We can't go skill against skill versus Canada or Russia.

Landeskog was alright today, he's still being misused though in my opinion. As is Gustafsson.

Agreed. I think the team will benefit alot from this win, and should they keep this up, things are looking good.

E: @Joe89 How would you like Landeskog to be used?

Well that was bad We can't score goals at even strength. Hertl was amazing. Again. He should be getting more ice time.

I do agree with this. I usually ***** about Canadians always getting away with stuff in internationel tournaments, but in this game we could've had 3-4 penalties where the refs decided to not make the call.

Landeskog is being used in a shutdown role on this team, he was used sparsely until Sweden scored 2-0. He's not the biggest creator on this team but he's top5. He should at least be used in front of the net on the PP, and arguably play on a skill line too. He's strong on the puck and creates space for others.

Happens in every game to every team, but c'mon, something as obvious as this? At such a key point in the game?

Sweden deserved to win that one, no doubt.

Looked as the penalty on Tallinder was more like him turning around and shielding himself though and not a X-check. Hertl hook was a penalty, but arguably that other one wasn't, so maybe it evened out.

How was Hertl in this game? Only got to watch a few minutes of the last period and the quality of the stream I was using was terrible.
