Ruutu absolutely freaks out....

http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/artic...05_130332_4740

Quote:
"If I ever play him again, I guarantee you I will beat his ass," said Ruutu. "He is a f---ing *****. I challenged him a couple of times when he was on the bench. I invited him to fight me but he is a f---ing chichen. He s--- his pants in fear. I could see that."
I would never have thought that Sportsnet would post something like that. Thats awesome.

Ruutu's a clown.

Didn't he learn from Brad May, Todd Bertuzzi and the rest of the Canucks thugs that open threads to the media aren't such a good idea?

Now, if the next game between these two, Ruutu does something stupid, there's the intent right there in his quote and this moron can be off to court as well.

Fortunately the European courts are much more level-headed than their North-American counterparts.

Of course he didn't learn. That's how the Canucks sign players, they make sure they're thugs first, obviously.

Gotta just love to hate this guy.

And for everybody's information, he is a clown. His antics are hilarious.

anyone remember last year in the first round when he tried to bite off a calgary player's skate? This guy is the most entertaining hockey player to come into Hockey since the days of Fluery doing his chicken dance in New York or Domi chucking a chair into the ice cleaner in Winnipeg....

Is Ruutu, the master of the Turtle, the king of ducking fights.....calling out a guy for getting a taste of his own medicine.

What an idiot. This guy never fails to amaze me with how low he can go on the ice and off it.

You haven't seen him fight? Go ask Grier and Rivet how much he turtled (both were KOed by Ruutu)

Btw, interesting choice of words from a huge Tootoo fan...

He also beat Fernando Pisani and Rob Blake in fights last year, for what it's worth

With agitators, part of the agitation process is making a player mad and then not fighting them as to perpetuate their anger. If the player doesn't get to give Ruutu his comeuppance, that player will stay angry for a good chunk of the rest of the game and will therefore not be as effective.

Hahaha! I always love it when Finland plays against Sweden and both Jarkko and Hedström are playing. There´s something magical in it.

Or we could ask McKenzie, after Ruutu crosschecked him in the neck Mckenzie through to lefts, after the second, Ruutu balled up in the fetal position.......

Ruuttu is such a clown, kinda like Sheldon Sogay.

Of course Hedström wouldn't drop the gloves, we were up 4-1. Why would he risk a suspension or injury to his fists?

Agreed. Jarkko is a great agitator and entertaining to watch as he is handling the puck *cough*. Hedström on the other hand can skate, hit, score and bug the hell out of his opponents. I guess that must hurt Ruutus ego in some way.

I'm not a huge Tootoo fan. In fact, I really do not like him much at all, save for the energy he brings to the Predators. If he turns into what Jarko is, I will lose all respect/support for him as a player.

I know you like to come to every thread that involves me or a Predator player in it, but at least make correct statements.

As for Jarko - I'm sure he can fight. I have seen him fight. The issue I have is that he ducks fights all the time. He HAS mastered the turtle, and his comments from the article just shows what a goof he really is. He gives, but he can't take. Maybe he should watch some of the clips he has against Forsberg to understand the other side of the fence (Taking his stick and giving it to the vancouver bench, etc.) The guy has no shame on the ice and will break every rule and code out there, but when somone refuses to fight him when he is ready......he has the audacity to call him out. If he wants us to take him seriously (which I'm sure he really could care less), he needs to do the same for others, which he doesn't. He is a hypocrite, and he knows it. The thing is, I don't think he cares as long as he is employed in the NHL. This still doesn't mean I can't dislike the type of player/things he does on the ice.
