I think he is one of the best wrestlers on the planet.

But I also realize in WWE that doesn't mean much.

As a fan of him long before he got to WWE I'm happy seeing him get paid though, even if he has had to change from "wrestler" to "superstar", get that money.

Big fan of his wrestling but I don't like him on the mic.

Great in the ring, somewhat underrated on the mic.

I don't mark for the guy, but I don't have anything against him either.

Obviously he is easily the best technical wrestler in the company and I would be comfortable calling him the best technical professional wrestler in the world (I can't definitively say he is #1 because I am not too knowledgeable about Japan), but he is middle of the pack in regards to a promo and look.

To put it in HF/hockey scout terms: he is a formidable top 6 guy who excels on the PK and will be up for the Selke every year. He could step in on the first line if needed and when paired with the right line mates he will produce, but he is not "the guy" who can be relied upon to carry a team. Random analogy... I know... I digress.

Best pure wrestler in the promotion and one of the more entertaining guys on the roster.

Don't watch much hockey, but that analogy was beautiful.

Best in ring worker in the E today. That's all that needs to be said.

I love his in-ring work and his current gimmick/character. But it's a comedy character and he won't be able to take that into the main event. I don't know what he can do as a more serious character as WWE didn't really do much with him character/promo wise before his World title win. I never saw him before WWE.

A lot of internet fans seem to think that he should be a top guy in WWE, but I don't see that in him. Sure he can wrestle, but in today's WWE, you need more than that.

He's a high-end 2nd-tier guy. He'll never be anything more than that.

got as big a reaction as taker in the UK, no doubt he's one of the most popular guys on the current roster, they'd have to throw his submission specialist gimmick into his current one to elevate him into a constant main event guy.

He has the crowd eating out of his hands the whole time he's out there, whether on mic or in ring.

I think he'd fit better in the current WWE title picture than he would the WHC one, just because of his size.

Daniel Bryan is/can be what Kurt Angle was. Never THE guy, but can float from the main event to the upper midcard seemlessly, great wrestling ability, comedic, etc

I'm not the biggest fan of technical wrestling to be quite honest. However, Daniel Bryan is one of the few people (And one of 2 in the WWE) that I can actually enjoy watching their technical wrestling.

Really good wrestler but obviously held back by WWE.

Reminds me of Benoit. Angle's a good comparison too. If they switched his gimmick to something more intense instead of comedy, he'd be perfect to push to the top as a #1 Face.

It's crazy how people critique his mic skills when they are not actually that bad.

Should be in a higher position than he is now, but will never be largely successful (in terms of world title reigns) because WWE officials have hard-ons for hacks such as Ryback, Swagger, and Langston.

He's great in every part of the business. I always tune in when he's on because I'll get entertained either way. Whether it's great wrestling, a move I've never seen before, being a jokester, playing to the crowd, etc. it works for me.

I know Bryan's very well liked on here, but I would be absolutely shocked if he reached the level of Kurt Angle.
