I'm not feeling the doom and gloom, really. San Jose was absurdly lucky to win Game 2, a game where they were soundly outplayed. Luck will get you so far. If the Canucks play Game 3 the same way they did Game 2, I like our chances.

And if the buzz about Schroeder drawing in for Ebbett is true, all I can say is it's about freaking time.

Wonder if AV can actually do some coaching and get us back on track.. maybe he took notes from Carlyle tonight, or was he too busy laughing at cat videos on youtube.

I was doing a really good job of keeping myself from noticing that.

Thanks.

The game really came down to two crucial errors that the Sharks capitalized on. It sucks, but if the team just sticks with it and comes out with that same effort, the bounces will eventually start to go our way, IMO.

Who cares if they played well? They didn't win. There are no moral victories in the playoffs. Sure, the Canucks played very well and should have won yesterday but they didn't and they're now down 2 games to none in the series. They also can't score more than two goals in a game, a common theme for years. Again, it doesn't matter how well they played, they couldn't score. People want to blow it up to a degree because we've seen this song and dance for years! Nobody cares how the Canucks looked in principle anymore.

1 win in their last 9 playoff games and 2 in their last 12. 19 goals scored in their last 14 playoff games.

This has been going on too long now. It's time for a change. The team doesn't have the ability to score when it counts. I don't care how good they've looked.

Start Cannata, dress Burrows as backup. Sit Henrik and play Ebbett in his place. Terminate Edler's contract and call up Joslin. AV dresses up like Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys.

Go out, full retard.

True. It really isnt.......but........you do wonder if we win last night with Schneider in. I have seen Schneider get across better on those 2 on 1s. Luongo always lunges in those instances.....then there's the issue with the tying goal. That's the Luongo special - he has to have more allowed goals in the final minute of games than any other goaltender around.
