He doesn't even deserve to play. I'd sit him for game 5 and send a message to the team, and if they lose suffer the consequence and find a new job but at least you'd be able to live with yourself. That's is all kinds of awful.

Didn't you ever listen to Don Cherry when talking about how lazy Russians are? That old man might have a point

Joking aside, that is ****ing pathetic and that's why I wouldn't want him on my team. Never been crazy about Ovy

Dale Hunter playing him like 10 minutes a night doesn't seem so harsh anymore!

That's the only time the Caps were actually winning and playing a solid team game. But I guess when you invest that much in 1 player it's though for the organization to just leave him on the bench and not make the guy happy

It's pretty funny.

If you post it somewhere, at least credit fellow HFB member PJay NYR for this GOAT gif

P.S.: as I posted somewhere yesterday, if you're not visiting the Playoffs Photoshop thread on the main board at least once a day, you're missing out on a lot of fun

What is your source of consternation? I enjoy the fact that Oven Chicken has embarassed himself once again and even subjected his team to another game in which they get more beaten up.

I called him a spectator because he was precisely just watching and not doing anything.

Ovi was just admiring the play developing in front of him, just like the spectators in the stands.

Halak trouble in STL

KTRS Sports has confirmed that goalie Jaroslav Halak and Coach Ken Hitchcock got into a very animated and loud argument prior to game 4 out in LA, with Halak shouting profanity at Hitchcock.

Halak now finds himself in trouble with his coach and with his teammates. If being down 3-2 and going to LA isn't enough, the team now has to deal with the fact that there is a legitimate issue in the locker room and that is the attitude of Jaroslav Halak.

Nope...it is not wrong.

I do think it's overblown. I doubt for a minute his teammates have a problem with him. Based on his time in Montreal, I doubt he has any real relationships with more than a few guys on the team. He's just "that goalie" to most of them. If he wants to start, he can stay healthy and make some saves.

Teams trailing 3-1 or 3-0 in this year Series seem to just quit ! The season was short but very intense.

I think Halak didn't get along with his teammates for a while now. Earlier this season, one of the Blues player (Oshie IIRC) called out Halak in the media saying that he didn't understand why Halak wouldn't play (Halak "injured" his groin in the warmup).

He is the only person to ever block me on twitter.

Actually, Brian Wilde too, but that was because I told him Allan Walsh was in fact -not- a good source of unbiased information. Wilde is emo.

Wow....I don't normally agree with Cherry, but refs in the last Chicago/Minny game calling a faceoff violation penalty (what a ridiculous call)....Joel Quenneville went absolutely bat****.

What is it with the refs and kicking guys out of the dot? DD alone must have been kicked out at least 20 times.

So do we know if WTK is at the Mooseheads game tonight? The ole ole ole song just broke out with 10 minutes left in the 3rd here in Halifax, and I figure he's the one who started that one.
