Dion should be out at least a game, or more.

Deliberate elbow to the head, with the primary point of contact being the head.
Haha, ok bud.

Just thought I'd bump this to further illustrate the stupidity of Phaneuf.

He still leads all players in the playoffs in giveaways ( second is Cody Franson FYI ).

I actually think Phaneuf would be a great dman in the Bruins system, as ironic as that is. Claude would have to tell him "park your ass in your position, and if you go for a hit and relinquish your defensive responsibility Ill bench you." He's a big solid dude with offensive prowess, and he's go some edge even though he's a god awful fighter.

The problem with that is, someone making 6.5 million a year can't be considered a reclamation project.

His hockey IQ wouldn`t have him understanding what CJ teaches

Nope

Average player , 2nd line defence at best

Overblown ego and sense of self worth and an arrogant a$$hole

Been a Bruins fan my whole life..he comes to our team and I stop watching hockey

I don't think he's half as good as leafs fans say (top-10 my ass), but he's a top pairing defenseman on pretty much every team in the league (including the Bruins). We could argue semantics and if there's a better partner on top pairing for certain teams but any team in the NHL he's logging over 21-22 mpg

I think that's the point with Dion... He can adjust in the regular season but when the chips are down and the pressure is on, his worst old habits come out -- bad pinches and running around hitting everything.

In OT in Game 3 and at the end of Game 7 he was absolutely abysmal.

I'll take Seidenberg over him any day of the week and twice on Sunday

those pictures are priceless...

So happy to get drafted and sign in calgary. Life starts to suck....

Last red jersey (in pic) was right after he found out he was traded to toronto, next pic, once he arrived.

He looks depressed to say the least.
