We're outplaying San Jose, it's pretty obvious that they're the team committing more of the infractions, but somehow get 2 PPs to every 1 we get.
I virtually never complain about reffing, but this is freaking mindblowing. Is like the Boston 2011 series all over again.
That penalty on Weise was a bloody joke. He takes a stick to the face, and then is in a dual headlock with a SJ player as they go to the ice. Nothing play, and SJ was being far more aggressive there ... how we get penalized is a joke. Same for the non-call on Couture throwing the puck.
Yup. This league is so corrupt it's impossible not to ignore. Vancouver isn't going to win this series. Why? They're not supposed to. These penalties are so lopsided that it's naive to attribute the unbalance to incompetence alone - it's obviously in one team's favour. Just like the 2011 SCF.
Thornton's a ******. He barely got touched on the right arm and he starts shrieking and pumping his left arm.
Yeah, those dam diving Canucks.
Apparently the Canucks are going to defense the Sharks to death. It doesn't look like this team has what it takes to win in the NHL. I'm honestly surprised given the roster. They look useless.
Still kills me when there are morons talking about how the Canucks are the biggest divers in the league when you've got Thornton, Pavelski and Couture in the game who can match anything Burrows and Kesler have done.
It's like someone admitting " I'm too stupid to actually watch games, but I like this kind of comment against the Canucks" and I'll keep perpetuating it regardless of what actually happens on the ice. I wish it didn't bother me, but dam ... it really does.
Yes he shakes the wrong hand but, he was clearly slashed in the right hand.
Especially when it's already a 5 on 4. We all know damn well that if we were on a 5 on 4 powerplay, and Thornton slashed a Canuck, there would be no penalty to push it to a 5 on 3. No matter how blatant, and no matter how aggressive the slash was.
