Wish Q would get on the refs about obstruction more often. Lots of holding and interference out there today

Haha. It will be interesting to see how that plays out the rest of the game. I just don't want Shaw losing his cool and taking a stupid penalty. Let the other guy do that.

I don't think it was a direct mouth read, but Seto and Shaw were really yapping at each other going to the bench around the 19 minutes mark. There were definitely a lot of F-bombs thrown in there. That much I could tell.

Kane has 4 assists. Sharp got 2 goals last game. If you just mean the 1st line, then yeah.

Top lines?

Kane has 4 assists. Sharp has 2 goals. Handzus has been solid. Even Hossa has a goal and an assist. It's still early in the series. Toews has been good, as has Saad, they just haven't been rewarded yet.

Seabrook's lack of production is something we can live past. Toews and Kane playing hot potato is more of my concern. They need to start banging them home.

This.

He's been playing like this for most of the year. If he's injured now, he's been playing that way the entire season.

He is falling down much more than usual. Between last game and this game it's getting ridiculous.

I'm prrrretty sure he's been playing like this for most of the past 3 years. Guy's a bum. We should start a thread.

Was that what Shaw said? I was trying to read his lips, but I'm terrible at doing that and couldn't figure out what he was saying, other than a few F bombs.

You're complaining about Kane's production?

Yeah, you're right. Maybe I'm being a little more dramatic about it. Just looking forward a bit. Still though, we've been pressed for goals 2 out of 3 games and we're getting them from unlikely sources. I understand that is more of a statement about our depth than anything, but I want to see those clutch goals from Kane and points from our PPG guy. whatever this is, isn't going to get us past St Louis. Just my opinion.

Not when the biggest concern the entire period was our play around our own net. Seabrook's tortoise-like reaction time, failed clearing attempts, and inability to control the crease led to a few really good scoring chances that shouldn't have materialized.

It's not entirely fair to put all the blame on him as the team in general (save for our thid pair for the most part) has been lacking in this department. He has easily though, been the worst of the offenders.

When the puck is in our defensive zone I am scared ****less every time he's on the ice.

Yeah, and then he called him a "****ing (something)" once he got to the bench. I absolutely love it.

Lookin' for Toewzer to start heating up. Thinking the Hawks wake up a bit more this period too and start producing.

We should. If I do will you stop by to insert more of your lame sarcasm, or do I have to ask politely?

We don't need any offensive production from Seabrook. We need him to not play like an idiot in the defensive zone and to connect on simple passes which he has been unable to do all series. I really hope he can step it up because he is a great player to have with his mix of physicality and positioning(when he moves his skates) on defense.

Toews and Kane playing "hot potato" is not a concern to me at all. Kane has been playing great offensively...Toews will step it up hopefully offensively. They are on different lines though anyway.
