Game 7 Start Time

Anyone have an educated guess on what the start time of game seven may be? I need to work Sunday and would like to set my hours around a possible start time.

If I had to guess, I'd say 7-7:30. Since they're playing the night before, I feel they are going to give the teams the max amount of time to get back over to Pittsburgh. But we will be finishing them up on Saturday so no worries.

It's set at 7pm. The Habs lost, so that's the time slot we get.

game 6 is set for 7 pm. i dont see it anywhere that says its 7 for game 7. also the rule is back to back games there has to be a 22 hours apart from playing on the back to backs in the playoffs. so the game could also be at 5 pm

My mistake, I thought he asked for Saturday.

I'd assume it's still 7pm though, for travel time and whatnot.

Doubt there will be a game 7, so no need to worry about when it could start.

I hope this is just lowering expectations. I seem to remember us getting our ***** handed to us after Game 1 and then making a series of it.

We need to outwork them. We need to bully them a bit; hopefully, the lineup for Game 6 will reflect that.

As far as I'm concerned, we have these things to at least be hopeful about:
  1. The home crowd has been amazing and the team has fed off of that.
  2. Vokoun, while better than Fleury, was still leaving a lot of rebounds.
  3. If we can bring back the physical play and get to the front of the net, we'll get some goals.

Will we keep enough pucks out of our own net? I have no idea. All I do know is we need to bring a physical lineup.

I'd actually dress Ullstrom and Joensuu. I'd play one of those guys up with JT. I'd sit Boyes. He had one good game, but even in the one good game he made too many mental mistakes and just floats at the absolute wrong times. I'd dress Martinek and Carkner. (I also would have toyed with starting Poulin for this last game and Nabby for the home game.) I'm torn, but I think Nabby is in net for the next game. Like it or not, he's our starter for this year. I'd love for him to be our backup or platoon for next season (depending on what moves we make in goal.)

Are you reading this, Jack? Garth?

Edit - As far as the OP is concerned, I'd imagine 7:00 or 7:30 PM.

,
Mitch

this is what we were missing last night. Vokoun was not light years better than Fleury we just didnt obstruct him at all.

I believe that there is a mandatory wait of 22 hours in between back to back games. Howie and Butch alluded to something like this in last night's broadcast. Having said that, I don't think it makes much sense to start Sunday's game at 5 instead of 7.

If there is a Game 7, it'll probably be at 7PM.

While i agree with you. Fleury was Awful. He did not need to be light years better. Vokoun just mad the saves he needed to.

On the broadcast last night they mentioned that there was a 22 hour minimum. I still think they give them as late as possible. Wouldn't be surprised to see a 7:30 start either. The Rag$ will probably be playing at 4 that day and then NBCSN would have the Isles as the second part of a doubleheader.

Larry Brooks ‏@NYP_Brooksie 2m

If B's win tonight, Rangers at 7:30 Sun (and NYI Game 7 at 7:00 if necessary). If Leafs win tonight, Rangers at 4:30 Sunday.

Can't believe how quickly people turn on this team. They got smoked 5-0 and came back to win Game 2, why can't that happen again?

I believe that 7 is the tentative time. Bettman is still awaiting final approval from Sidney Crosby.
