It's just like they gave them a playlist though and they did the same thing for 2 months. Then gave them another playlist and switched it for the 2nd half.

With a "full" season this year and my games much more spread out, I'm sure it won't feel that way, although I'm overloaded in Sept/Oct I'm going to five games in that time span.

Baseball is the worst, at least football finishes in a decent amount of time, but they all complain about baseball, and hey, if you didn't have 6,000 pitching changes and go to ads between every half inning and change then maybe it might move a "wee" bit faster.

In fact anything where there is a "TV time out" should be banned IMO. It's a joke.
I think it's more that the players are creatures of habit and like to keep routine even in their music.

One thing's for sure, with Seto gone, I won't miss the occasional techno that played during warmups.

I liked "Sweet Nothing" I'll be honest, but I always like electronica.

No, if Harding had his way we'd have to hear Rascal Flatts during warmups!

The song we have now is alright, but the problem is other teams have it. (Who was the first to use it? MN?)

Some of my favorite goal songs are the older ones. These are what I think of when I think of great goal songs (no particular order):

1. Chicago - Here Come the Hawks organ music
2. St. Louis - When the Saints Go Marching In organ music
3. Hartford - Brass Bonanza
4. NY Rangers - Let's go Rangers
5. Montreal - 'Goal Song'

Voted "Like It."

In a lot of ways "Crowd Chant" is the perfect goal song, not least because we've been using it for so long. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

That said, if we were hell bent on changing it to something more "local", we'd have a problem. In my experience, the majority of Minnesota acts really don't cater to this kind of thing. Mindless, easy-to-pick-up chanting. Bob Dylan, Prince, Husker Du, Atmosphere, Doomtree....not a lot of Jock Rock material there.

If I had to pick one though, I'd go with this:

Actually, if I'm perfectly honest the Wild goal song would be something like this at about 1:24, but that probably sends the wrong message.

When Burns was here... there was a lot more metal played... Need more metal back in the warmup lineup!

I think you're on the right track, though I have to say Chelsea Dagger, for as infuriating as it is to play against, is perfect and everyone who says otherwise is jealous.

Absolutely agreed on the others though (except I'm not familiar with the Rangers song). **** yeah Brass Bonanza. And I'd add that I'm also really fond of San Jose's awesomely ****** synth organ version of R&R Pt. 2.

A newer one that I really enjoy is Howlin' For You (by the Black Keys) in Phoenix.

Really wanted the Wild to use that for theirs.

As much as I love the song/band, it would have seemed wasted on any team other than the Yotes. Fits too perfectly.

Well, if the young bucks had it their way, the goal song would be "22" by Taylor Swift. Example:

Yes, yes, why, eee, ess. No one watches Phoenix anyway so nobody would notice if we used it.

I'm so over the current song - I get annoyed with how long it goes and the coinciding claps per beat in the stadium.

New song please
Owatonna native "owl city" ?

I like it. I'm pretty sure the Wild were the first one to use the song. It definitely isn't the worst goal song I've heard.
