MacLean isn't wrong there.

Definitely big loss on both. Eller made that third line one of the best in the league with Galchenyuk and whoever. Sens are flying into the zone, Emelin would of had multiple victims the way the enter with no fear of course they would know Emelin is there and would not try it so much.

I'm a Habs fan, but I'm not delusional. I'm a realist, and right now, in this modern time, our Habs team is not a good team, it is mediocre.

If I wasn't a fan, I wouldn't care, hence I wouldn't give my critique.

Ottawa has the better goaltending, better defence, better offence, better coach, and better GM. Their GM would not sign Pacioretty, Desharnais, or Price to albatross of contracts.
I agree with all of this. I was sure the Sens would improve their scoring problems against us...and I was sure their GAA would stay the same or better. They are a well coached team nad play a great system. They have the perfect amount of size, grit, skill, etc. They're built for the playoffs. We are not. And now that Eller is gone...we have 1 centerman really. You can't win with that.. Just a superior team in all areas.

I think we should get back to that policy of "no extension during the season".

All I see is a lot of things for the team to rally around.

Worst playoff game I've possibly ever seen, which makes it that much easier to erase and move on. Take the things that happened from it that can give inspiration and be ready for game 4.

As weird as it sounds, I'm not worried. The team stuck for themselves for the first time this year and while the game was a gong show they didn't allow teammates to be pushed around.

our wheels completely fell off. the team deflates when price lets in those apparent softies. he just can't seem to get back into the groove. i think his new pads are cursed.

the gorges-diaz pairing is just killing us. i'd sit diaz and use whisky for next game.

we have to stick to our game plan and stay disciplined. if not, we get exposed. guys are just not playing as a unit. out of position, over compensating, and end up scrambling.

we have to crash their net hard, out number them and get dirty down low.

we'll see how we bounce back next game.

I actually think the fact that we're talking about the timeout rather than the loss is a positive for the habs. While the media talk about MacLean, the Habs will focus on tuesday's game.

Hard to argue against this. Series is done IMO. Ottawa is a better team in every category including coaching.

I'm not so sure he was aiming for Turris. If it doesn't hit him, that's going straight for Ottawa's bench

Series is far from done. Habs come out in game 4 angry and the Sens come out wagging their tails like hailed victors.

Crazy how ineffective Pacioretty and Gionta were in their return. Absolutely nothing came from their presence.

They need to step it up, along with Desharnais, or we're ****ed.

No offense, but that's overreaction imo. We dominated the first two games. We win the next one and it changes everything. Our players need to play hard.

I'm going to get flamed for this but i don,t blame Maclean for trolling and taking a timeout. Habs were the ones going around cheap shoting Sens players left and right. It's one thing to go into dirty mode which i don't condone but it's twice as pathetic when you do that when not being able to win a legit physical battle. It's like getting into a street fight and then pulling a knife when the other guy is kicking your ass. It's cheap and dirty

The Bruins can go into dirty mode because they have guys like Lucic , Thornton , Chara , McQuaid ect who will kick some ass if the other team respond (which is what they want). The Habs go into dirty mode but they don't have the elements to deal with the heat when the other team respond. They get their ***** handed to them

It's another reason why this game was even more embarassing
