Ryder, Desharnais or Diaz?

If Bourque is suspended, give them the series. He is our only good forward with Gallagher.

After he helped put them there, though. Pens were miserable before Therrien came in. He gave them a backbone.

Don't like how habs played. First set of fights were normal. Not backing down. Rest is bunch of sore loser work. I think subban went too far but turris provoked but after that... Man, play the game guys. We need to win 4, that's the point.

Time to go read a book and forget about this night. Being a Hab fan for forty years now, I still have the passion and love for that jersey! That will never change!

We sucked in every aspect of the game because the number of midgets and soft defensive coverage.

At least we showed some emotion in e 3rd...

If it's the case, this league is even more a joke.

I missed the Gorges attempting to hit a player with the puck at the end of the game and i just saw it on TSN. The weakest shooter of the NHL doing this...not a good thing Josh...no.

But do you agree that the Habs were shaken physically? It's a team that cannot respond to that sort of game.

Whether it's Therrien, Martin, Carbo...even Julien behind the bench, it doesn't matter if you don't have the guys that can respond to that.

I think the general pissery that went on was good, after the display of chirping between Subban and Pacioretty. That incident will be quickly forgotten about, and the players should be rallying together to take down Ottawa next game and for the rest of the series.

me too, turned it off at 3-1 so I was spared the embarrassment ....

I would rather finish in last place year after year and win some fights, then be the laughing stock of the NHL with our smurf lineup. what a joke of a team

I'd have to respectfully disagree with you on the part about heart. If this team had no heart, they would have folded like the 2008-2009 team did after the game with the Bruins where Lucic beat Komisarek. Though they could have been smarter about it. Wasn't a big fan of the elbows, crosschecks, etc.

I do agree with the second part of you comment though. That's why guys like Ryder, Desharnais, Gionta, Patcioretty etc are so frustrating to watch.

The next game will determine the true character of this team.

DD is totally useless and so is Moen, Gionta and Ryder!

If the league is anything but a joke, they have to suspend Bourque. That was totally stupid and dangerous. With how they want to punish shots to the head, that's one heck of a shot. Might not have skated full blast, but it doesn't matter.

Mentally pummeled because of physical punishment. All night long.

The CBC guys had a field day showing Galchenyuk bailing off of the puck to avoid getting hit by Turris.

The CBC guys showed a greatest hits compilation on Gallagher. And what they said rang true. One hit will not slow him down. A progression of hits will though. And true to form, Gally was not crashing the nets tonight.

Habs didnt make a turn to head into the alley. They were dragged into the alley.

What pissed me off even more, it's seeing most of the habs, sitting on their ass on the bench, while the brawl was going on. Every sens player were up and us, we only had a couple of guys. No life.

Wouldn't be much of a stretch to see Bourque get a similar call, especially since he's a repeat offender.

Sure, he'll continue much like Laps did, maybe a little better but I saw some dick tucking going on by Mr. White that will be tough to come back from, in this series anyway.
I'm constantly disappointed by White when he fights, it's like he seems to be holding for dear life everytime. In that fight with Cowan he seemed to be scared to get hit for whatever reasons.

I guess he'll be a pest and that's it.

Just wondering how much longer we're going to be sold the GaineyGoats vision of "Skill within the Rules" and "Speed with Excellence". LOL.

Sayings cooked up of course because there was no strength in the lineup.

The team needs beef , not chicken.

**** that game was embarrassing.

I dunno. I wasn't able to watch the entire game (was on and off for the first two periods and then turned it off early in the 3rd).

I just thought Sens got physical and Habs couldn't do anything about it. Also, penalties cut their legs. Finally, you have people missing in action: Eller obviously, Gio, MaxPac, DD, Emelin (even with him, the D was already not strong enough for the playoffs). Sens just have better D -- very tight defense. That's the reality.

Carey will need to be brilliant for us to win (or Anderson is ordinary).

Edit: Gio, DD, MaxPac missing in action, figuratively speaking.
