Edit: is anyone else getting really sick of those Minnesota script jerseys? They're cool as an alternate but if they're really planning on making that their home and creating a white version, that's a shame. Their red home jerseys are awesome.

If anything, they should be making a road version of that one.
Both teams are getting away with trips in this game

Both Hawks and Wild PP's are embarrassments so honestly both fanbases appear mostly happy with no calls

Sorry if this was previously mentioned, but Harding is now out with an injury, so 3rd-stringer Darcy Kuemper is in. The kid looks like he couldn't buy a beer in most states.

He also allowed a brutal soft goal to Patrick Sharp to start 2nd period

Must have been a case of nerves. That was his first shot against and very saveable.

That beer he can't buy would help that...

Hey guys, I haven't watched the Pens game tonight (roadtrip to Tennessee to check if Shea Weber is available) so I just looked through this thread - and all I found is an infinite loop of lol Fleury - lol Nabokov - lol Pens (and a mandatory pissing match at the end). Can anyone give me a quick overview of the game please? Sounds like I missed a lot of fun

Fleury and Nabokov traded equally terrible goals.

Islanders would score and then next shift the pens would score.

This went back and forth until the 3rd. In the 3rd, the Islanders dominated. Fleury let up 2 or 3 laughable goals again.

After the pens lost, they gooned it up and started jumping players at the end fo the game

Hahahaa thanks. I'm just watching the recap on nhl.com and I swear the 2nd Isles goal went straight through Fleury's chest. Who knew chest snipes are useful? (when the goalie has a puck sized hole in his chest)

I mean, you pretty much described it. We waited to see if "Meltdown" Fleury could outsuck "Slowhand" Nabby.

On another note, Schneider has been very reboundy tonight.

That was a weak-ass call. Especially during a playoff OT game.

LOL Canucks

Schneider made 43 saves, but did he ever look bad in doing it (IMO). So many rebounds...including the game winner.

Also, this is the first time the Sharks have swept someone in the playoffs? Wow. Didn't know that.
