Blues! What a great series. Hopefully St. Louis can pull it out.

We sure are, that trade is awesome. People still pretend he was terrible here, or that being injured is a form of choking.

Pretty sick play from Lovejoy. Hard to believe that's the same one who sat in the Pens' pressbox more games than not.

You would rather have Carter over Voracek and Couturier?

Pretty cool move by the Chicago Steel of the USHL

Quote:
With their final pick in the 2013-2014 USHL draft, The Chicago Steel are extremely proud to announce that they have drafted forward Jack Jablonski from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

On December 30th, 2011 Jack was a sophomore at Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School in St. Louis Park, MN when he got hit during a high school hockey game on and sustained an injury to his spinal cord (High Tetraplegia to the C4 vertebrae). Although Jack has been told he will not be able to walk nor skate again, he has pushed through many trying times as he strives for success in his lengthy rehabilitation.

Look at OV

He's one of my favorite non-Flyers, but crap like that kills me.

He's like Carter. Those big strides just make it look like he isn't trying to skate.

Idk if this is the right thread for this, but I was just looking back at some old trades the Flyers have made. I gotta say, one of the worst trades in the history of the team has got to be the deal for Adam Oates. 1st, 2nd, 3rd rounders and Oullete (who cares) for a nearly 40 year old Adam Oates on an expiring contract. Oates was still playing at a PPG pace when they got him, but jeeze louise that is an overpayment for a rental. Their playoff performance that season made this trade look all the more worse. The only saving grace is that the draft picks never really amounted to anything in the NHL.
