Back to back pre-season games for the Wings. Will Datsyuk play today? It all remains to be seen.

Again, it's not televised because the TIGERS are on.

I think it's pitiful when a terrible team such as the tigers get a much better TV contract than a totally dominant team like the wings'.

They do this during the regular season, i'm going to find some torches and pitchforks...

I was trying to listen to the Red Wings on the radio a few years ago(regular season game) and the radio station had a Tigers game on. Then there was a post game Tigers show. THEN they switched to the Red Wings. I was furious.

I don't know if you guys have checked out the new feature NHL.com has that they added at the end of last year...they keep complete shift charts for every game. They graph out when a player is on the ice.

Kind of odd that Lewis dressed 7 defensemen and 11 forwards.

According to the stats on NHL.com, Datsyuk is 11-4 on faceoffs. That's always good to see.

You finally got a game with Datsyuk.

Sounds like he put on quite a show. Two power play goals, and a great night on faceoffs. I can't wait for the regular season to start... guess I will have to fork over the big bucks for Center Ice again to get my Red Wings... but damnit its worth every penny!

ONE MORE INTERESTING STAT: Robinson (it says V Robinson on ESPN...

) got a double minor for roughing/slashing in the third, and another 2 minutes in the first for boarding. THe little guy can rough it up! I like the fire! Anyone hear or see the game? Can you comment on him?
