Thought Kassian had his best game of the series. Looked more confident with the puck. Other than that not many positives. Luongo looked great in relief. Does he start game 4??? Right now, he gives the team a better chance to win imo.

I thought Schneider would be top form but he's rusty.

Gotta start the red hot Luongo.

Schneider was fine. It wasn't until that horrendous that goal that he melted down. He knew it was over after the third goal because this team can't ****ing scoring. There is way too much pressure on the goalies in this city because our art ross twins can't carry the offense in the playoffs. They disappear. Schneider cracked just like lu in some playoffs games because they know that if they arent airtight that the game is over. Schneids knew it was over after 3 (it was a pretty bad goal though). The only reason Luongo's meltdowns look bad is because our gutless coach allowed goalies to stay in when it is pretty obvious to anyone else when Luongo is off of his game. Sure, the goalie may want to stay him but you still get him out of there. Instead, AV has always let these goalies stay in and get destroyed which just makes the other team gain even more confidence and crushes our own team's confidence at the same time. If AV pulled Luongo when he was off, none of his games would look like huge meltdowns. AV has always played his part in Lu's meltdowns by leaving him in there. That way, he can let the goalie take the blame. He is a spineless coach. i am so glad that he will finally be gone.

Lu has had meltdowns in the past, but if you pull him early it just looks like a simple loss. This team can't score. The Sedins have never gotten it done in the playoffs. It is time to trade them if we want to get it done in the playoffs. They won't lead us anywhere. They are also the reason why we end up making every goalie like a vezina candidate. No one on this team outside of kesler can sorta snipe and the sedins are always look for the perfect pass. It has always been like this. No one can score. Poor Luongo. He may have had bad games in the past, but we would have gone absolutely nowhere without him in that 10-11 playoffs. **** you AV!

I appreciate what's been done in the past with the coaching staff and GM, but come on. Two years and they look as awful as ever.
Said this in the AV thread:

I know it'll come to a shock to some of you given many of my posts in the past about Bieksa - but I think a different coach who will NOT give a long leash to him might be able to shake-up him enough to pay attention to what he's doing on the ice. The "let him do as many brain farts on the ice without fear of demotion/benching" clearly doesn't work with Bieksa.

He has been excellent this whole series, actually. The fact that AV has him playing such limited minutes is just one of many dumb decisions.

Well why didnt he want blood last season? Or through the giant pile of dog**** that is this season? This is ridiculous.

Wouldn't be bad if we want Sam Reinhart and Connor McDavid.

Couture, while he is a good hockey player, is the biggest ****ing whiner and diver I've seen. I hope to hell someone destroys this ****er in the near future

This is why he's a lousy captain. Why can't he call the team out, including himself and his brother, for playing like crap? We're getting steamrolled this series and well on our way to being swept.

The way I figure it, we're going to give this core one more crack with a new coach before we start to make significant changes.

Not much to say about the game. Schneider crapped the bed, the Edler-Bieksa pairing was as terrible as it's always been and the Sharks got all the calls when it mattered most.

Stick a fork in them for this season though, thought they had better in them but they don't.

Stop yelling at Henrik. He has feelings, too.

I wish that wasn't the case. I don't want yet another first round playoff exit.

so what have we coined this "5 minute blow-up" as? it has been going on for a couple years. Do we have a name for it?

Game 4:
Give it to Luongo i guess.

Split the Sedins. It isn't working. It probably won't work anyways but everyone else gets split so they should too.
Daniel Kesler Kassian
Raymond Henrik Burrows
Higgins Roy Hansen
Weise Lapierre Ballard

Hamhuis Bieksa
Edler Garrison
Alberts Corrado

Luongo
Schneider
