Let's all root for the Kings to beat the Blues

Since it now looks like the Ducks (If they get by Detroit) will play the winner of Kings/Blues series thanks to Canucks choke job, wouldn't it be great to be the team that prevents the Kings from repeating? It will fuel the intensity of the rivalry and save us from the wear and tear of traveling and keep us fresh for future rounds.

I was thinking about this as well, but mainly so we can face them in the playoffs before the Outdoor game next year. If we can at least get to the 3rd round and facing them on the way, next year's game is gonna be intense!!

Too much of a risk that the Kings beat the Ducks, and we turn into that Sharks fan that had a ***** fit, and had his dad yell at him.

Go Blues.

Plus Andy Mack is on the Blues. I can never root against him (unless he's playing the Ducks).

Just rooting for a long series. Don't want to face either team without a few bruises already on them. Assuming we survive ourselves.

I'm not rooting for the Kings. Not now, not ever. Especially not against the Blues. I'd much rather play them than L.A. Can you imagine what we would have to put up with if we were to lose to the Kings in the playoffs?

Since I don't think we can beat either of those teams, I'd rather the Kings lose now.

Can you imagine how great it would be to beat the Kings in the playoffs?

But let's just worry about this series. There's a lot of hockey left to be played and we haven't wob anything yet.

Pretty much until we win this series I'm not going to be "rooting" for the kings. Once we win 2 more games, I'll be cheering for the Blues to lose in a 7 game series. This "rivalry" needs to be officially started. I don't want the Kings to get to the 2nd round until we're there.

The sooner the Kings are eliminated the better. Especially to see all those crying Kings fans who were so sure we'd be violated by the Red Wings and were throwing #firstroundexit all over twitter. That and if we lose to them in round 2 we will NEVER, hear the end of it.

If Ducks can make it past the wings then either of the two matchups will make a memorable series. Ducks and Blues would be a brutal and intense series

A lot of LA fans seem arrogant. There's no way I'm rooting for the Kings. Plus I like quite a few players on the Blues.

I'm so torn on this whole thing. On one hand, a series between the Ducks and Kings would be all kinds of epic and maybe it'd finally ignite an even nastier rivalry between LA/ANA... but it would only be that awesome (for me) if the Ducks came out ahead. And regardless, the series would be ugly and it could take quite a toll on the winning team before the WCF (fine if it's LA, but more worrisome if it was the Ducks).

I don't think I can take having to hear about LA fans boast about a Cup followed by beating us in a playoff series.

Come what may, I'll just keep rooting for the Ducks to win and the Kings to lose.

Welcome to the board.

Edit: Also, I will never cheer for the Kings. Let them lose in the 1st round, especially after how arrogant some of their fans have been.

I'd rather face St. Louis than the Kings. Also I don't think Minnesota is done, series could be 2-1 Minnesota.

Blackhawks were better in those games, however.

Anyway, outside of Canucks, i don`t think we can call anyone as ''done'' in these playoffs.

Let's just worry about ourselves. We're a long way off from beating the Wings.

It would make for a terrific crosstown series and definitely ratchet up the rivalry, but........NO. I want the Kings out asap. My only priority is a Cup in ANA and I think we might have a better chance against STL.
