Has any of you Znarok-fans even considered that the problem is also in goalies? Masaļskis is getting old, there are no replacements like him. Without a good goalie Latvian team is quite weak.

Why are you so in love with Nolan anyway? Yes, our hockey system is ruined and it's even a miracle that we are in elite. But this same roster CAN play better, it is NOT as bad as Nolans makes it out to be.

Masalskis is only 33-years old, he is in no way old. And it's not like he must score goals.

1 period played so far, calm down Austria is also good in blowing leads. Only chance is if Starkbaum is playing at his best (like at the olympic qualification tournament). He was not really good the last two games.

Nope. Well, some few top players are missing in action this year, but they are suffering from the same low self-esteem disease like the rest. I watch the game, and I see that more or less the players are playing fast, even passes are smart and well thought, but there is something missing.

3:1 already. I missed the 3rd one. This time it's over...

You just don't get it. it's not about Nolan, but the players. Nolan didn't make it worse, he probably didn't make it much better, but the players suck and are getting worse.

4:1 **** it! This is the last year I follow those idiots.

If you want to win over this pathetic rabble, you have to score once. Only once, and we surrender.

There is no tragedy in that. I hate when drama queens in Latvia make it look like a country will then fall apart. It's just sport. Nothing will change. Everything needs a new start.
