Let's hope not. I don't mind either Bryz or Varly for 2014 starting role.

If Bryz screws up today or against Canada along the way / Gold game, Varly should be No.1 for Sochi (He's better than Price and Fleury overall - and he plays for the worst team in the league.

Hopefully it's a close game for the US but I think Russia is going to pull it out.

Russia has a much, i mean MUCH better offense. Add to that the obvious benefit from playing on the big ice regularly and Russia should take this one fairly easily. Bryz didn't look that bad against Latvia either.

I'm rooting for USA but don't believe in their chances. Bishop will have to stand on his head and they're going to need some lucky deflections or other 'crash the net' type of goals for the win.

your roster of forwards isnt that insane either...Outside of Kovalchuk, there simply isnt anything there worth talking that much about. Russia has the edge at forwards, but the US defense is well ahead of Russia..hopefully the US can keep it close, but I dont see Russia as world beaters here.

Unfortunately i don't have either of those guys.. Would be nice to have Kovy in my living room though, next to my TV, handsome guy.

No but seriously, that's just ignorance. Russia's KHLers are way better than pretty much any forward on team USA. But that being said, go USA !

Gionta / Carter vs Kovy/Lokti

Wooooo

Go Russia anyway, always root for them in hockey since Poland's team is god fkin awful and they arent ever in any tournaments

Gionta and Carter are much better the people think. Also Loktionov is also being overlooked big time

This rink is gorgeous. I love the lighting.

What's the size of the ice? International or Finnish?

Yeah, but I have ATT U-Verse which isn't represented which is strange because I have NBCSN as one of my channels!

Bobrovsky!!

David Moss is getting severely underrated in here. A legit 40 point two way threat. He's no star player, but he's a solid mid-line player.

He was foolishly deep in his crease for a point shot. Great shot by Belov but Bishop has to have that, you're right.
