Right place at the right time, when the Norwegian defense only watched the puck-carrier. Didn't really stand out IMO.

He had 2 goals and the most shots (6) on the team and Ruff only played him 10 minutes. Again. Every other Canadian forward played 12+.

The disciplinary committee, a Canadian and an American, suspended two Norwegian players for a couple of weak boardings. They couldn't play tonight. But there has been many hits like that in the tournament, even worse, and the committee didn't lift a finger.

Hmm...this stinks. The IIHF is pretty rotten organization

Canada was very sloppy in games 1 and 2 and were turning the puck over a lot. Hall was guilty of it but so was the rest of the team, chiefly, Claude Giroux. Ruff seems to be using Hall as an example for the rest of the team while guys like Giroux get to play 20 minutes per game.

Lindy Ruff is trying to surpass the Calder voters for ignorance of the Western Conference.

Hall is a top10 winger in the world.

Well its true. Back in 2010 we had like 3 or 4 suspensions. Tollefsen in the Olympics, Jacobsen and Grotnes. Also Ylven got one if im not mistaken. And we allways gets alot of penalites. Like Thoresen early in the first period. That was a weak call.

Luckily we got some of the best penalty killers in the whc... So far we got like 17 2 min penalties in 3 games (34 min on pk)

Lindy Ruff is an idiot... If what I am hearing is true and Hall only had 10 minutes of ice time and still put up a team leading shot total with two goals than Lindy should be sent home.

To protect a certain star-team. Frustrating, because it isn't fair play. I didn't know the Canadians are so afraid of Tollefsen, but of course, it's nice to know that Giroux or Duchene now had little risk of injury...

Made me sick when I heard this news.

Lindy Ruff hockey ladies and gentlemen. Don't play your best forward for arbitrary reasons.

Canada doesn't need protection. Stop being a sore loser. You think a couple of players would have changed the outcome of the game where Canada dominated thoroughly? Get real.

2 goals? This pisses me off. Ruff better bench Hall more to send a message.

This is TEAM CANADA.

I don't know why people focus so much on their players. Whatever it takes to win... I'm going to trust that Ruff knows what he is doing.

Oh it's easy to see why the two most physical players got suspended. The only thing we need to hear now is how much this Canadian committee was paid.

It's the 9th top scorer who's been hot all year. You play that player. It has nothing to do with EDMONTON. It has to do with seeing him play every game and knowing what he can bring. Simple stuff.

Stop being arrogant. I agree with Wolfy. The iihf dosent like Tolly, because of his physical play. Its a fact that the whc is a tournament for *******.

And Canada wouldve won anyways, but the game would be different. Tollefsen is +4, avg icetime about 27min and he is the captain.

Cmon they didnt pay em anything. The iihf cant stand physical play and that ruins every international hockey tournament.
