I'll be happy with Lindholm/Monahan @ 6, Pulock/Hartman @ 22, and Morrissey/Klimchuk @ 28.

I would be very happy with your mock draft.

Monahan, Pulock, Klimchuck would be a massive boost to our rebuild!

Agreed. I kind of think we're trading 22 or 28 for two second rounders. Depends on who is there probably. Feaster has said that he "owes" the scouting staff a 2nd rounder.

We have more first rounders right now, than we would have picks in the top 60 if we did not trade any picks, period. So there is no reason to sacrifice quality for more quantity... we already have quantity. Don't get why people are just OCD about having picks in every round... gotta have one in round 2, round 3, etc. It doesn't matter?

Quality over Quantity every time.

This draft is very deep, though. 28th for 36 + 56(?) from MTL would be too good to pass on. (imo, obviously)

I hope we just hold on to our 1st rounders and make some trades (Tangs, Cammy) for 2nd & 3rd rounders.

I kind of want a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Subban but I don't want to trade one of our 1st's.

Do you guys as a fan base like the thought of Monohan at 6? Kind of scares me off a little. Just trying to get a gauge on your guy's thoughts. When I look at the Flames I look at Nichushkin first and foremost at 6 followed by Mantha/Gauthier and Heatherington/Morrissey bringing up the rear with the last first rounder.

Yeah don't draft him cause his team sucks guys. Only draft from the top junior teams only. A bad team means bad players.

He gets that feeling everytime Calgary loses and he can log into his troll account to come here and rub it in.

Will Flames get any hometown kids?

Most likely:

Josh Morrissey

Morgan Klimchuk

Oh I know, I think the only time DHF smiles is when something goes wrong. I just wanted to make a comment about how he never feels good about things.

Congratulations, Calgary, I believe you got a player in Sean Monahan who is one of the most NHL-ready prospects in the draft.
