Are people really excited about the Kings/Blues series? That's what I've been hearing and I wonder why. This strikes me as a boring series that will be quite low scoring. Heck, the only series in the west that looks interesting (And yes I know bias is in full effect) is Sharks/Nucks. I'm looking forward to what storylines come out of these series'. Hopefully they are all good and go long.

Wild's goalie Backstrom left ice (had to be helped off) during warm ups.

Wow, that's brutal. Their chances just went from slim to none.

What a bombshell. Hopefully Harding survives, but coming back from multiple sclerosis and we don't know if he's fully healthy, this series might be over before it even starts.

Hopefully the Wild can still take a game.

Michal Handzus is on the Blackhawks 2nd line. They still have a chance.

NBC commentators think that the Wild will be recalling their #3 depth chart goalie out of the Calder Cup playoffs in the AHL.

But not tonight.

If there was need for another goalie tonight, they suggested their goalie coach (who is in the building).

FTR, Harding has 20 minutes of NHL playoff experience coming into this game.

That's crazy!

So, does he have ice in his blood like Niemi or is he crapping his pants?

No reason for them to do anything else right now. Don't use energy you don't need to. They've been there and know how long a trip it is.
