Carrie Underwood just said she'd take Mrs. Reimer over Mila Kunis.... I figured her husband would want to talk to her about saying that, since she's married and all. Unless Mike likes 3 ways with opposing goalies wives.

Definitely got an eye on the Pens/Isles game tonight Vokoun owned them during the regular season and he has a chance to put Fleury to shame. Big game.

I find it funny that Bishop's twitter background is still the Senators logo

I'm glad every player that was a Senator spoke volumes of the organization and our team.

One of the greatest gifs ever, but also one of the most inexcusably awful things I've seen from any NHLer, let alone the captain of a team.

I have never seen anything like that in my life. WOW. How is this NOT like the biggest news in hockey right now?

**Edit - OMG I keep watching it and im just speechless. I cant even truly fathom how terrible that is. I wouldnt be able to even explain this to someone and have them understand the depth of how terrible this is without them seeing it for themselves.

Why would the NHL want to admit that all their games are being controlled by outside forces instead of the players on the ice?

If you watch it on nhl.com it doesn't look as bad. It is bad, but the gif just blatantly points it out lol

As bad at it seems, it wasn't completely Ovie's fault. He was suppose to cover the point men and it was 3 on 3 on the boards, and if you watch the whole play, it transitioned so quickly from the half boards to the front of the net that nobody could've anticipated how that play materialized until too late.

Most guys who play sports have this thing called 'desperation mode' where you at least try and make a play to prevent a big play against you whether or not you are supposed to have that player or not. Ovie has no desperation mode in the d zone.

There was 4 Craps and 3 Rags in the zone, not counting Ovechkin. I'm sure that's why he wasn't hustling back.

What OV did (or didn't do) was bad, but the breakdown in the zone by the other 4 Crap players was even worse.

Well, no. Making a mistake while trying is an honest effort. Not trying is not an honest effort.

This play is far worse than Phaneuf's pinch. Or the mistakes of Ovi's teammates.

Were the others trying though? Hillen was, but the others?

By the time OV realized there was a breakdown with the puck going to the guy in front, he was likely too late anyway...

Not defending the guy though, it was bad. Lack of desperation yes. But it wasn't OV's fault per say, the others screwed up too

#38 needed to lie down on the ice. The goalie committed to the shot, he needs to take the pass.

He didn't.

Yeah you would like to see effort from Ovechkin and there's a slim chance he could have prevented a goal but more than likely it would have just been scramble with nothing achieved.
