I don't see Stone being the kind of player people think he is going to be. I think Ottawa has a lot of average forward prospects but with the exception of Ziba, Puempel, Lazar, I don't see any "studs".
I'm a big fan of Greening but wish he would play with a lot more consistentcy & edge in his game. He has the size, speed & strength & if he would only develop a mean streak would be an awsome player. If he could score that would be nice as well.

Stone has what few guys have & that's the ability to find the puck & make plays. What Ottawa needs is a guy around the net to find the puck & make a play, a guy with size & strength who will hang in there when the going gets tough & score some dirty goals. I'm hoping Stone will be that guy.

I agree, it's just a matter of time with Ceci, Corvo is keeping his seat warm for him until Luke says he's ready.

It is my belief that Stone & Ceci are over rated on this blog.....

I think they are further away from playing for Ottawa than you believe, they still have a long way to go in their development. It is going to take more time than you think...

I could be wrong it would not be the 1st time, but that is how I see these 2 prospects.....................................

Yes, I know, I have read your thoughts on these two before, I guess we'll see. Ceci does seem to be putting pts up down there though.

The 'matter of time' you talk about aragorn is just that. It's going to take time for him to develop on the defensive side of his game for the complete package. Putting up numbers isn't the problem as most already know about Cody.

So, no, Ceci will not, scratch that, most likely will not see Ottawa this season.

You may be right, I was also going on what T. Murray was saying that Ceci's offensive game is already NHL ready is the defensive side that needs work & he thought it would be at some point this yr. I guess you & Zeke & maybe others down there don't think so, it could be a case of TM hoping he is almost NHL ready. Anyway he does look like he is going to be a decent player though, doesn't he?

Huge. He's a beast w/ the puck, but on the other hand frustrating to watch at times. He should just convert to being a forward.

If Bingo gets a win 6 - 0 or more you get a free sausage biscuit at McDonalds and a donut at DD the next day. Breakfast of champions.

Looks like you got us up on the kiss cam after all Ski, except my girlfriend was too busy noticing she was on the screen to kiss me. Ah well.

I really enjoyed the game last night. Hoffman, Da Costa, JGP, and Ceci really stood out for me. Wideman and Prince had pretty good outings as well. Very friendly and passionate crowd, had a nice chat with a few people, and ended up buying a Wacey Hamilton stick at the store.

Did a little shopping on the parkway in the afternoon and went to Chipotle for lunch (a luxury we do not have in Ottawa). Dillingers before the game for a snack and a few pints (great suggestion, awesome food and a decent beer selection). The stay at the Holiday Inn was pleasant too.

Had a great time in Binghamton yesterday and I'll be back down for sure.

Injury update Binghamton....

Injury update

Ludwig Karlsson left Saturday’s game against Syracuse with concussion- like symptoms in the second period and did not return. Richardson said after the game Karlsson was feeling “much better” already, but was held out for precautionary reasons. ... Mark Stone and Andre Petersson are expected to return to practice sometime week, including fullcontact drills. Their statuses to play this weekend are uncertain for the BSens home-and-home against the Rochester Americans.

Via The Press Sun-Bulletin...

Hmmm no mention of JOB as he in out with an injury also. Last 2 times Coach Luke has been interviewed he has Not mentioned, JOB at all is JOB going to become the forgotten player in Binghamton as he was in Ottawa last season, curious??????????????

Via Zeke.....

Here is a recent article on Kramer by the B Sens beat writer

http://www.pressconnects.com/article...nclick_check=1

Richardson seems to think highly of him, here are a few of his quotes:

Quote:
“His improvement over last year really started at the end of the year,” B-Sens coach Luke Richardson said. “He played well, created chances on the forecheck, and was being physical but still playing disicplined.”
Quote:
“A guy like that is very valuable, especially in the American Hockey League where you get some feisty young guys out there,” Richardson said. “Krames loves being involved, he loves to be chattering at the other team and take them off their game, but if he can do it — but still keep his game in control — that will be a huge plus for us.”

Looks like Binghamton is maybe gaining a casino as two brother's that own several Holiday Inn's in Bingo have a plan to develop a casino in the downtown area..voter's voted and it looks like a go.

New York casino proposition approved.

The proposal to authorize casino gambling in New York passed handily Tuesday night.

The result clears the way for up to seven privately owned casinos in New York. The first four, with Las Vegas-style table games, will be allowed in three regions: the Capital District, the Catskills and the Southern Tier.

Tioga Downs, which opened in June 2006, is planning a $60 million to $70 million project, to be rolled out over the next two years.

Meanwhile, the Visrams envision a downtown casino spanning 50,000 to 75,000 square feet with roughly 1,000 slot machines and 30 table games. It would cost somewhere between $25 million to $50 million and take two years to build.

I guess that's good. It's a business development and job creator for Binghamton, however it will suck the pockets dry of Binghamton casino-goers. Hope it works out in the long run.
