It's probably the average score of lumosity users in those cities. The problem is, lumosity doesn't measure intelligence and doesn't improve intelligence either. Those scores are meaningless other than for comparing how good people are at the lumosity games.

Same goes for any city survey that's out there..I'm 6' 0" at 180 but I also represent Binghamton as the 2nd most obese city as well..

Also Binghamton is #1 in depression, sad but true. You can see it downtown, that will NOT change anytime soon. As all we have here anymore is the University for the high paying jobs. Well that & all the school districts, plus the dam county govt keeps getting bigger and bigger with that they keep getting more and more power.

Is nice to know Binghamton is #1 in something!!!!!!!!!

There's a fun (blog) article in today's local Press concerning Binghamton hockey and it STILL stands as the record breaking year in the AHL '92-'93 season..
----------
Catching up with the record-setting 1992-93 Binghamton Rangers 80 57-13-10

That Rangers team is arguably the best regular-season team in American Hockey League history. Binghamton did not win the Calder Cup that season (it lost in seven games to the Rochester Americans in the second round), but it did leave its mark on the record book. The squad is listed six times in the official AHL record book, and most importantly holds the record for the most points in a season (124). Other records include highest points percentage (.775), fewest games lost in a season since 1940 (13), fewest road losses (8), most goals scored (392) and most points scored (1,053).

Don Biggs won the Les Cunningham Award (MVP) while putting up a league-record 138 points and Joby Messier set a league record in plus/minus rating (plus-59). Biggs and goaltender Corey Hirsch were first-team all-stars and defenseman Per Djoos was a second-team all-sta

-------------

Some of my notables from that season;

-Don Biggs roots for his son Tyler, who was born in Binghamton. Tyler was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.

-Daniel Lacroix spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach for the Tampa Bay Lightning and before that he was with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL.

-Alexei Kovalev and Sergei Zubov

-Mike Richter (rehab assignment) played 5 games and went undefeated

-Corey Hirsch came to Binghamton with a lot of hype and led the league in goals-against average (2.79) his rookie season in
1992-93.

-Head coach Ron Smith (28-5-5) took over for fired NYR coach Roger Neilson and NYR assit. Colin Campell took over in Bingo (29-8-5) to finish the season.

-One of the 3 local owners of the team also owns a restaurant which still exists called the 'Number 5', very nice place..he vowed that every 5 games the team wins in a row, dinner was on him
--------

I remember being in a bar after a game w/ some friends and a bunch of Rangers were there including main man Don Biggs..we were watching the fallout of Smith getting called up replacing Neilson on ESPN after a game..player's were stunned

OT baseball; but related to the minor league system and what it means to the organization as a whole outside of hockey w/ the same concept; to develop properly

We have Double A baseball of the NY Mets for over 25 seasons here in Binghamton, and have won 2 Champions and 2 Division Titles of the Eastern League..we are currently out front as the best team in the league this season and hopefully this team will bring another Championship to the City..

I found this article about rf Cesar Puello and his awesome season he's having..

"His batting average now stands at league leading .334 with a .411 on-base, a .563 slugging, and a .973 OPS that all rank in the top three in the Eastern League.

The righthanded slugger has 21 doubles, 2 triples, and 16 home runs in 84 games thus far, giving him 39 extra-base hits among his 107 total hits this season.

Then there’s his speed. Puello has stolen 24 bases and has been caught 7 times as he showcases another one of his plus tools and it doesn’t end there. He’s a plus right fielder with a powerful arm that has accounted for eight outfield assists already including a rocket to nail a runner at the plate this weekend."

-And now for the kicker, the big club is not going to promote Cesar to Triple A! 3 reasons, he works well w/ his batting coach, apposing pitchers will make adjustments and how he reacts, and lastly..

“..we would like to keep him in the middle of this playoff race in the Eastern League. It is a great experience playing in high pressure games.”

When they mentioned his name on the radio i was expecting them to say he was going back to europe. Nice surprise. He still has a chance. If not with ottawa maybe somewhere else. Good news though.
