nice GDT, UM. Is this your last one of the year? Or do you have game 6, also? You did a great job this year. Sad that it's over.

I just can't believe we need to score 5 goals in a game in order to win. Where did all the "this isn't like last year" talk go?

I'm hoping there are more to come, but I'm also going to let others jump in and take a turn. Definitely will do one later in the playoffs if they keep going.

Lineup is certainly going to move about I'm sure.

Thanks guys/gals.

From Shero's perspective he did everything to make sure it wasn't like last year. I can't imagine how pissed he must be at what he's seeing. Iginla, Morrow, Murray all brought in to make sure last year's meltdown didn't happen again.

Have faith.. the cancer is out. the Islanders are about to feel the true power of this fully armed and operational battle station.

The quotes from the Isles players about the pens meltdown last year are very telling. It says that the pens problems are tactical ones. This can be swept under the rug in the regular season because no opponent is going to dedicate much time to implement a game plan for one team, but come playoff time...you face off against one team over and over. Teams gameplan for you, and it's very obvious the isles have watched a lot of tape of that flyers series. They are pretty much doing to a tee what the flyers did last year, albeit the flyers were more talented.

Will you be posting this same stuff about Fleury if they play the same way they did the last three games?

Johan Hedberg is on 93.7. Thinks Vokoun will get on a roll and the Pens will take the series.

Thinks that the game(s) off will help Fleury.

If he stops the ones he's supposed to and doesn't score on his own net the series is over even if the Penguins keep playing like donkeys.

If a steady hand in net gives the players in front of him more confidence then look out Loretta...

This is what happens when jaded fan is optimistic. I blame him.

To get things back on track.....we lose 1-0 in triple OT

I think Fleury misunderstood what Shero meant by "All in".

Nice Gameday. It's 1000 width, right? Chrome isn't showing it right, had to switch to IE to look at it in one piece.

Pens win 4-1

As long as Vokoun makes the routine saves, we should be okay.

Yeah Darren Pang was on the NHL Network and said that he thinks that tomorrow night we'll play our best two way game of the series so far.

If Vokoun gets on a roll why would Fleury even come back in?

I personally believe we'll win this series with Vokoun in net. We'll start Fleury in Round 2 and see how things go. If we lose tomorrow I will panic but right now I'm feeling alright.

This is our series to win, we worked our ass off for home ice and we need to use it to our advantage. The crowd needs to be electric out there, so that the boys can feed off them. No reason we should drop 2 out of the 3, except for pure stupidity and dumb luck by the Isles
