Game 5 @ The Bell Center| May 9th 2013 7:00pm EDT | Playoff Minimalistism Edition |

HATERS BEWARE
...It's a minimalist GDT tonight.

This is game 5 of the Stanley Cup playoff series between the 2nd seed Montreal Canadiens and the 7th seed Ottawa Senators.

The Ottawa Senators are currenly leading this series 3 games to 1.

Series highlights so far:

-Eric Gryba clean hit on Lars Eller that lead to a 2 game suspension.
-Terrien was mad and started to cry...no rezpek
-Prust went back to Kindergarten and found that "Bug-Eyed, Fat Walrus" was a hilarious description of Paul MacLean.
-Habs won game 2 by accident
-Sens dominate game 3 with a triumphing 6-1 tally.
-Habs figure they're losing and give up playing hockey, decide to pursue an MMA career.
-Line brawl ensues....AWESOME!
-A Bunch of racists Boo Subban
-Headshots ensue, league decides that those are legal. Cool.
-MacLean calls a timeout
-Terrien was mad and started to cry...no rezpek
-Habs win game 4...wait no they didn't LOL
-Budaj

I don't have much to say after this so I will leave you on this:

Quote:
You may think that the Hula Hoop was a fad born in the 1950s, but in fact people were doing much the same thing with circular hoops made from grape vines and stiff grasses all over the ancient world. More than three thousand years ago, children in Egypt played with large hoops of dried grapevines. The toy was propelled along the ground with a stick or swung around at the waist.
During the fourteenth century, a "hooping" craze swept England, and was as popular among adults as kids. The records of doctors at the time attribute numerous dislocated backs and heart attacks to "hooping." The word hula became associated with the toy in the early 1800s when British sailors visited the Hawaiian Islands and noted the similarity between "hooping" and hula dancing. In 1957, an Australian company began making wood rings for sale in retail stores.

The item attracted the attention of Wham-0, a fledgling California toy manufacturer. Richard P. Knerr and Arthur K. Melin, of Wham-O, manufactured a plastic hoop in a variety of bright colors. Knerr and Melin promoted it for months in 1958 on Southern California playgrounds where they would do demonstrations and give away hoops to get the children to learn and play. Their perseverence turned HULA HOOP into the greatest fad the country has ever seen. Twenty-five million were sold in four months!
The Hula Hoop was introduced in 1958 and made the two men very rich indeed.

The fad died out in the sixties, but Hula Hoops are now very much with us again thanks to the fitness craze. What better way to grind off those unsightly bulges around the waist and hips.
Knowledge is power folks, Go Sens Go!

GDT is deserving of a high ranking, but I will not specify a score. Would be too exact.

There are going to be a lot of angry Habs fans screaming for calls in the Bell Centre. And by a lot I mean the same number as usual, just twice as hysterical.

We took a game from them at the Bell Centre, we can do it again.

Though I was listening to Game 2 at work when we lost, which I'm gonna have to do again for this game...

Bad mojo!

Errr weather the storm and get this series over with please. It really sucked not being able to win the Rangers series last year. Just get the W.

I fully expect the Habs to come out flying.

The Habs are beat up. Budaj is playing.

They're on the ropes. Put them away tonight.

The way I see it, it'll be one of two extremes tonight;

Habs come out absolutely flying, know their pride is on the line, looking to avenge the serious hits their team, coach and organization have taken in this **** show of a series. Play well above the level of injury ravaged lineup they're forced to put on the ice. Sens still beat them cause, y'know, pesky :p

OR

They're beaten. Come out slow and sluggish, borderline disinterested and just wanting this crap to end, the straw having broken the camel's back long before puck drop. The end of the series is a mercy.

Let's see if Ottawa can manage to not repeat the first two periods of game 4 or the entirety of game 2.

Not so bold prediction: if Ottawa loses tonight, series goes to game 7.

Hoping for one of two possibilities tonight. A Chris Phillips goal, or early Oliem Olie from Hab fans. Both pretty well guarantee a Sens win.

Good luck, hope you sweep em! Just seen the highlight from your games, how has Karlsson been, is his skating as good as before or is he still adjusting?
