It looked like a weak call on that final penalty

They both fell so I can see how a ref might think there was a trip but I didn't see anything

And that's why you don't want 4 on 4 for an entire period. So dumb. Not even real hockey.

Haha what? It was a clear breakaway and she did enough to interfere with her to pull her down WITHOUT touching the puck

In regulation, that's a penalty shot. However, good call by the ref to let them play it out and not decide gold on a penalty shot

Come on, it was very exciting.

Shouldn't have been a penalty though.

Even though team USA lost, it really sparked my interest in womens hockey. I had no idea it was this intense. Congrats to Canada.

What a turn of events, ridiculous game.

I do feel bad for Julie Chu from the States, she's 32 and has been in 4 winter Olympics, getting Silver/Bronze every single time. This was definitely the closest she came to finally getting the gold.

Bad calls on both sides... but nobody can blame the loss on the referees. Canada won this game.

Everlasting karma for stomping the Canadian flag in the dressing room.

Can't really blame the game on the reffing when USA should have put it away when they were on top.

That was a great game. Ignorant that the refs decided the game. Put the whistle away. Congratulations to Canada, that was a great game to watch.

Hard to disagree with that. Game shouldn't have gone to OT in the first place. But when it got to OT, the ref's should've put the whistle away.

Congrats Canada.
Though USA played better.

This game was great advertisement for womens hockey. My (swedish) feed was quiet when sweden played the bronze game but blew up completely during this game.
