I see a kicking motion but it's way late and the goal is already in net by then.

Absolute joke of a call. These refs and the guy in Toronto making the call should be fired.

Ref Stephane Auger is gonna talk to the media. Apparently, he thinks this shouldn't have been a goal.

It's not a goal and everyone knows that.

Well if stephane auger says it shouldn't be a goal... might as well give the game back to mtl.

thought it was good because both skates move pretty much in sync on the play

Deflection from the stick or not, the rules states if there is a kicking motion, it's no goal.

Isn't he ex-ref? And the only one beside shamahan to think that Grybas hit was illegal?

Lol the puck tipped twice, how can it be a distinct kicking motion.

Only way there is more of a kicking motion is if he bicycle kicks it in.

Personnally, I think its a no Goal.
However, there wasnt enough evidence to revert the call.

If the score was tied, I'm pretty sure it would've been refused.

Puck left his skate before there was any kicking motion. Good goal.

Looks like a pretty obvious kick to me, but these things are never ruled the way I think they should be. I'm sure if questioned they would just say he was attempting to stop, which is probably true, but that's still a kick.

I don't see anything in the replays to make Toronto overturn the ruling on the ice.

Not really a kick
Definitely angled on purpose.

If it was against the Flyers, I'd be pissed.

But the habs have nobody but themselves to blame.
What was the shot count in the 3rd?
