Good for him!

Quote:
The 19-year-old tallied 68 points (29-39=68), 43 penalty minutes (PIM) and a plus-27 rating in 60 games with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) this season. The 6-foot-1, 197-pound native of Longueuil, Que., totaled six power-play goals and ranked third on the team in scoring. He was named the QMJHL’s No. 2 Star in November after tallying 23 points (10-13=23) and a plus-11 rating in 13 games and tied a team record scoring a goal in eight consecutive games (Nov. 9-23). Bussieres was also named the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) Player of the Week on Nov. 19 after scoring 10 points (4-6=10) in three games. He has collected 16 points (4-12=16) in 18 playoff games as Baie-Comeau trails Halifax, 3-1, in the QMJHL championship series.
He's rated as a 6.5C(Potential 2nd/3rd liner) by Hockey's Future

I do worry about the rumors of him being injury prone. Apparently the guy almost shot his own eye out last Christmas.

I like the concept of a 3rd liner who can pop in some goals and make some plays. Like a better Clutterbuck.

I like the concept of a Burrows without the diving, biting and complaining.. But then I guess that wouldn't make him like Burrows?

I like the thought of Graovac and Bussieres on our future 3rd line.

Fletcher and Flahr like drafting those guys who can blur the grey area between the 2nd and 3rd lines.

I like the poor man's Marchand comparison, although Bussieres has a couple extra inches of height.

Iowa.. Feels weird.

Wasn't sold on him over Frk at the time, I still have my doubts but he's come a long way.

I think that's a bit of a stretch...but then again we had guys like Almond and Irmen penciled in for third line duty back in the day.

From what I've heard, Bussieres isn't very physical... Neither is Haula.

From what I've seen and heard, he actually has quite a mean streak in him. Which is good.

I'm not as concerned with physical play as I am with good two-way players. Seen too many guys who are one or the other on the third line for my tastes.
