Seems that is is just not our year.

A number of injuries to key guys
Slumping goalies at the wrong time
Playing against a hot goalie
Just not getting the bounces

We'll be back next year and better prepared for playoff hockey I hope.

The Sens should change their jersey logo to a lottery ticket and call themselves the Ottawa "Dumb Lucks".

No we did dominate offensively. We just don't have a forward that has magic when it comes to scoring. We just have a bunch of players that pass off as offensive guys when none of them can carry their part of the offense. It's all about some guys scoring here and there.

Ok - I've rewound, and Turris was clearly offside on that goal.

We need a perfect shot to score. Sens are scoring off their ***** because they have guys driving to the net all the time.

There's some good things about this team, but there is still a long way to go. More than bigger forwards, we need a bigger D.
I've been saying that for two decades, so what's new?

Smaller, skilled guys aren't bad to have, but when you have the ones that are massively undersized, it becomes a problem eventually. I'm one of the most optimistic guys on this board, and even I've lost all faith and interest in Desharnais as of this series.

I can't wait to see people blame this game on the Habs average size and lack of enforcers.

Just tuned into the game. I couldn't join the believe bandwagon as there was just too much against us (refs, injuries, **** luck), but of course as a fan you always hope beyond all hope. Looks like Habs have been outplaying them again, though, but don't have much to show for it.

Agreed. They have no one to blame but themselves and their execution.

Just think how opposition fans felt when Halak went God mode a few years back.
Yeah Halak was great. Difference is habs didn't need to score any soccer goals and get bogus calls in order to win games that year.

The "NO EXCUSES" motto seems to have gone right out the door at some point late in the season and we haven't been good since.

Mental weakness is an actual problem with this team. It's not like the smaller players don't take abuse, but they fail at executing the little things.
