I am so happy about this it's not even funny. It has been a while since we've had a good chance in the playoffs, but all those years off has given Murray and co the time to put together a very strong team. You can tell the Sens have a perfect mix of talent and size.

We finally have the size to make any time quiver. If we would've had this against the Ducks it would have been a much different series.

Anderson is a total beast and I have vouched for him ever since his Avalanche days when he was pretty much the reason they made it into the playoffs. I've always said as long as he isn't injured he's a top 5 goalie.

I think we have a better shot than most think against Pitts (who we'll more than likely play).

GO SENS GO OW OWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!

Well, if the Ducks were the size of Montreal, sure.

That 2007 team was clicking that year. Don't sell them short.

I will grant you that having Cowen and Methot instead of Preissing and Corvo might have made a difference.

Those victory beers must have taken their toll.

This was a 7 game homestand for the habs, remember?

I can believe it.

What's that old saying? "Drive for show,..."

Solid series, the first one with grit, muscle and determination.
The trash talk and refs are all part of the game, and I enjoyed watching the series against a classy team the HABS are and have always been.

Thanks boys!!

I agree he was good, but didn't realize he was on for so many 5v5 goals.

Yip, he was the most dangerous Hab I thought. Although he did fade as the series went on.

Not so much when you line him up next to Pageau, Conacher, Silfv or Zib. Still a fun kid to watch though.

Like how MacLean handled his postgame. Constantly giving kudos the Habs.

Best line was when a reporter asked "What does this mean to you personally and to the team?", and MacLean says "Me? Pfft. Doesn't matter" and immediately moves on to talking about the team.

He is truly truly a great person.

I really think he showed class in his post game last night, that it was incredible.

Never taking any credit for how he was. Constantly giving Habs kudos for their season and their playoff play. Giving kudos to Therrien too.

I can't ever remember loving a coach this much!!

20 years plus an ownership stake seems fair. This dude is like Babcock in Detroit. He should never go ANYWHERE because these guys are modern-day Scotty Bowman's in their ability to reach players.

I haven't read the thread cauze I didnt want to read all the usual trolls comments.

But I wanted to congrats your fanbase! We had a really unhealthy squad and a streak of badluck that never ended. But some'll say that we create our own luck. You guys owes it and I hope you'll beat the hell out of Pittsburgh next round. Their goaltending situation is worst than ours and with Andersson, you could do it. It was a nice serie even though we lost it, the second our best centerman got killed by a LEGAL hit. Then, every period we played we had someone who got injured. Damn!

You'll be the only Canadian team moving forward. Win that mother****in cup.

It would be better for our fanbase, if we lost against the Stanley Cup champion
