Try using Mark Fistric, Oliver Lauridsen, and Jamie Oleksiak, then tell me that defensemen's speed doesn't matter.

Or you go out early in flames!

Nah, speed is the single most important attribute on default. I don't think anyone can seriously contest that.

I was actually fine after (hobbled) Goligoski and Larsen came back--though I still would love to have a chat with the "Assistant Coach" you decided that Fistric belongs on my 2nd PP unit every time there's an injury.

starting now!

Game 1 goes to the Yotes, 3-1.
Game 2 is stolen by Smith in the first period, leading to a 5-1 win for Phoenix.
Game 3 has another 5-1 win for Phoenix. 3-0 lead in the series, now.
Game 4 is won in the last 7 seconds after a juicy rebound by Smith and Rundblad kicking the puck into his own net for a 2-1 St. Louis win.

And despite going 2/4 on the PK, the Coyotes and Any Miele are able to snatch a victory and take the series in five games!

Great series to St. Louis. Despite losing the first three, he was able to easily adapt his game to mine and keep my chances to the outside. The last two games were crazy playoff action in particular. Unfortunate that David Rundblad will be injured for the first 2-3 games of the second round. Jordan Leopold leads the Coyotes with 6 points in five games. Jordan Eberle and Andy Miele are tied with the team lead in goals with 3 a piece.

Congrats on a much deserved series win Coyotes! Definitely going to be a tough out going forward.

Jake Allen was solid in relief for the Blues winning game 4.

Wish I had of played more regular season games against user competition before jumping right into playoffs. Found it tough to adjust especially first game or two. Wouldnt have won the series either way just looking forward to next season to see how I can do with a pretty solid roster.

have the best special teams in the playoffs so far! Top powerplay at 30% and perfect penalty kill! Small victories

So three series have yet to be completed:
- CBJ leads MIN 2 to 1
- SJS - CHI hasn't started
- TOR - PHI hasn't started

Guess we aren't getting a two-day first round.

Advancing to round two at 9 PM tonight, or whenever all the series are done.

Not the best performance by the being swept in 1st round...
Goalies didn't perform too well, Niemi in the first 3 matches, lets in 14 goals...we manage to score 7 goals. Never managed to play well in all 3 periods, which led to defeat after defeat. Should have stopped Toews earlier, he lead the with 4 goals, 2 which were GWG and 4 assists.

Why are you playing his CPU?

(Is the logic because you won 2 of the 3 human games? I guess that would make sense).

Yeah I'm not sure what makes you think you have free reign over his CPU. If you both simply couldn't find a time to play then the remaining games should be simmed.

Alright well with the TOR/PHI series going on right now, all we have left is MIN/CBJ with 3 games played.

We can do one of three things:

1. Give the two teams an extension and give them a morning to complete their games.
2. Advance early knowing the two won't be able to get the rest of their games in tonight
3. Let CBJ play MIN's CPU at least once before we advance at 9.

Based on my schedule I may not be able to get to my Xbox at 9, which would delay the advance a bit. I don't see how either MIN or CBJ should play the other's CPU, and I don't feel the league schedule should be pushed back. I'll give the rest of the community a chance to give their input.

i feel there was enough time to get games in, of course simming does risk injuries.
