That had nothing to do with Elliot imploding on the last two GWG's against.

Well our number one PP unit was ****ing McDonald-Steen-Stewart, so they got more ice time cause of that.

He didn't make any changes besides the Tarasenko experiment. Continued to roll a defensive liability in the Berglund line and continued to roll a third line that generated nothing all series long. You know what Sutter did when his team needed adjustments, he adjusted them. Made small switches to lines, played 7 dman, sat players who were underperforming.

While I am not saying this is all on Hitchcock his stubborness definitely contributed to it.

I expect a different make up next year. Jaden will take on a different role, Frank will get training camp and conditioned for a full season, and then maybe they grab a player or 2. The defense is set and the offense is where the issue is.

Because he was not like this at the beginning of the season.

Really Shatty should have played with Jackman. Polak seems to screw up more often when paired with Jackman. Schwartz played great I would have liked to see Schwartz play with Berglund and Stewart to have seen if his work ethic could have worn off on them.

No matter what we didn't score enough to win. We needed a shakeup to create offense. Hitchcock pretty much sat on his hands except for game 4 but didn't even give Tarasenko enough minutes to matter.

Rookie on a Hitch team. Lots of scoring chances and no goals. That's how.

This is a very good point, but he's 29 years old and when he was 24 and 25 he wasn't leading like this, everyone needs too remember how young some of these core players are, they'll be better when they're 27 to 32 years old and that's still two to three seasons away for the original kid line.

We'd need to get a replacement, but Shattenkirk is probably overkill for the role we have him playing. He could progress further elsewhere.

If we could get the #3 overall in the draft for Shattenkirk+, then I'd do that and use Berglund to get the replacement for Shattenkirk. At least we'd be able to pick up an NHL ready centre with elite potential.

Didn't realize that, sure felt like he was out there a lot more though.

I'd agree that Hitch didn't use guys as he 'should' have. That said, when you have underperformers in: AMac, Stewie, Berglund, Leopold, Polak, Oshie....to name a few of most glaring...what's a coach to do?

We would have a RHD hole to fill, but I think we could definitely do that via Free Agency. We wouldn't trade Shatty without a plan to replace him.

I will be cheering for the team that goes up against the Hawks. Even if it's the Red Wings. Can't stand Hawks fans.

Me too... to the above. October, I'm dead too, and screw Hawks as well. I wouldn't even mind Ducks... I like Teemu.

That blew.

Cards are so much better than the Dodgers, they suck. Also, we stole the Rams from them, so ha. I still dont feel any better...

The Blues have to find and then use a goaltender who wont let in soft goals consistently. They will win a cup when they do. Elliot was Turek tonight. Pathetic to let that penner shot in the net. Goodbye.

Kings fan coming in peace. Mad, mad, mad, MAD props to the Blues. That may have been the toughest battle the Kings have faced EVER. Seriously, I've have never seen 2 teams so evenly matched. As rough as it is to lose, do NOT be down on your team. You are SO f'ing close.

No fan base knows what you guys have been through more than Kings fans. Your time is coming. SOON.

I was excited for the playoffs, I just felt the Blues were gonna go a little farther than this. It just seems like such an abrupt in. I'm not even excited anymore, it's like hockey was just stolen from me so early this year, and the season was already short. I know it's not over but without the Blues in, it is for me. I am so bummed. I expected better. I expected a 2nd round, even if it was a quick exit then.

The playoffs are officially over. I won't even know who wins the cup until I'm told while playing NHL13, because i don't watch or root for other teams once my squad is out. Til the draft boys.
