Aw, bad turnover at the blueline by Scheifele. Sounds like a Jet through and through.

More of a great play by Horvat than a bad play by Scheifele.

He took tips from Jokinen on how to play the point.

Probably learned that move from last year's version of Ladd.

Unfortunate turnover. Nice finish by Horvat. Looking like London will extend this series at least one more game.

He is a goon.

I kinda wish the Jets had a goon or at least a pest.

A few chances, but pretty much shut down. One bad turn over that lead to a goal by Horvat.

They'll get 'em next game.

Camara most likely will get suspended for his hit.

One consolation: with Scheifele's 2a tonight, he's tied for third in all time scoring in the OHL playoffs.

All time leader? Shremp.

Where can you find the all-time playoff stats?

things going against us tonight

1) Barrie up 3-1 in a series = a 2 goal lead in a game

2) on national TV

3) London at home facing elimination

4) but really it all comes down to the Jets fans being this "on board" once we posted the GDT I think the curse was set (I joke, I joke)? Thank you Hank for the GDT!

On a serious note Camara needs to figure out where the line is.....if he gets suspended it could cost Barrie a trip to the memorial cup! Just too many incidents when the stakes are this high and the teams are this even.

Well Barrie needs to put that game behind them. They didn't play all that well including Scheifele and their goalie. If they stay disciplined and focused I think they take it at home tomorrow.

Better team won. There were many happy locals out on the streets tonight after the game. Doesn't matter. It's over in 6.

Camara really plays with an edge. He will need to rein in his horses before he finds himself a career ECHLer.

Not a smart move in that last game, given that Barrie has two more chances to close this out and go to the Memorial Cup:

Quote:
(...) The incident reviewed was a major and game misconduct for charging assessed to player Anthony Camara of the Barrie Colts Hockey Club.

Based on a review by the League, it is the position of the League that player Anthony Camara shall be suspended for the balance of the 2013 Rogers OHL Championship Series.

Goes on to state that the Colts can petition to have him re-instated if the Colts win the series and head to the Memorial Cup.

Hall is hobbled too - hope he can play through his injuries for one more game to wrap this up.

I am not saying the Colts are going to lose the series but I think they are now behind the 8 ball and London has stolen the momentum and is probably bacAton the drivers seat. Camara is who he is but he narrowly escaped suspension for his hit on Domi earlier in the series and now this? Really seems to have trouble managing his emotions when they are getting beat?

Yup. The suspension for flipping the puck into the stands is similar in nature. Love the competitiveness, but he has to learn how to focus those emotions. He just put his team mates and friends in a bad position.

Just looked at the replay and I'm mad. Competitiveness doesn't excuse it for me one bit....words like stupid, senseless and selfish come to mind, though.
Hockey is changing. If Camara ever gets to the NHL, his reputation will precede him and antics less flagrant than that will get him suspended in a heartbeat. In the meantime, he has let down not only his team mates, but a whole bunch of Scheifele and Barrie fans, including me.

Don't get me wrong: I'm not excusing it - it was a stupid thing to do. We're on the same page, though your page is turned up to 11.

I almost called him a fat, bug-eyed walrus, but pressed the delete button at the last minute.
