The two hardest things about changing from default to normal, in my opinion, are
1) to get used to the hitting (it is possible, but much more difficult and basically requires guys who have strong body-checking attributes) and
2) to realize that you absolutely need to change your lines on the fly. Fatigue is jacked way up, which not only affects a guys skating speed, but also his passing accuracy, puck control, shooting, etc.
The passing and shooting stuff comes quicker. You can't overcharge the passes and have them be received like you can on default, which means you can't simply hold the RT until you find an open player.
(And, yes, Chuck will have a bit of an advantage over many of the Bluth guys for a while, since he's been in at least 5 leagues on normal. )
Lol I missed this entire discussion as it took place before I joined the league. I now understand why I really struggle to play my style in this league compared to my older ones. I thought the passing was off or something haha guess I don't suck after all, just used to different settings!
That hilarious, before this league crashed the first time I was asking my oppoonents if there was a new tuner update or something cuz the game seemed different and they all thought or acted like I was crazy. Makes much more sense now. Totally offensive minded player in other leagues but can't score to save my life in this one so I just try to play solid defensively. .. Can't tell you how many times I've charged up a pass and been dumbfounded when I flies right through a player lol now I know

From now on, everyone is required to send a message to their opponents on HF. You may use Xbox messaging as well, but because you can't see your sent messages there, it is simply too hard to "prove" you've done so.
Use the private message feature on HockeysFuture. Its pretty simple, and as long as you keep your inbox cleaned out, we shouldn't have any trouble.
Well, put those stats in the thread post then, even better. Not a problem that ppl post here as well, just interesting to see them all at the same place...instead of "scrolling"/switching pages to see different ones...
