Isles will come out early with a lot of intensity. Need to hold off and early charge and take control. Reckon that if we play like we did in Game 5 then we should be fine. Anything else and we could be in trouble. 4-2 Pens.

I think that if we can somehow get more goals than they put in that we have a pretty good shot at this one.

If Crosby can score I think he'll make an impact on the scoresheet and perhaps the game.

Just remember, our first time winning the Cup, we did horribly in the first round, and came back from a deficit to win in 7.. Then we found our playoff legs, and tore through the rest of it.

Sometimes the first round is the hardest one to get through... I'm hoping if we can get through it this season, we'll catch fire!

Dear Penguins

I need you to win today as I will be working tomorrow and will be unable to watch a Game 7 live. So, if you could see to it that a Game 7 is not necessary, that would be awesome.

Cheers

I'm hoping the Penguins team we saw in the last two periods of game #5 is the one we'll see going forward. To some extent, problems in this series are understandable considering how many people are coming back from injuries and of course Fleury's problems.

Tavares & Crosby are apparently locked in mortal combat to see who can give the most bland interview possible.

Am I the only one that hates watching pre-game and would rather try to ignore it until the puck is actually dropped?

I don't even have the option since the pre-game is not available on Gamecenter. Sounds like I'm not missing too much, though.

If this starts out poorly, expect me to be full of bourbon and chain smoking cigarettes.

Finish them. Let's go Pens.

I'm surprised Sid is even understandable the way his jaw currently is. It looks terrible.

Pittsburgh Penguins ✔ @penguins
Tonight’s #Pens lines: Dupuis-Crosby-Iginla, Kunitz-Malkin-Neal, Morrow-Sutter-Cooke, Adams-Vitale-Kennedy. #PITvsNYI

No surprises, but still nice to see

historically, the pens are not good at finishing teams off in the playoffs. I'm hopefuly going into this game that we are a new team but I'm not dumb enough to think there is no way we get blown out tonight.

Back in time from Ruth's Chris Steakhouse where I ate like a fat slob. Hopefully I don't have to charge off to the little boy's room during a critical PP or penalty kill.

In any event, LGP!
