I love my Sens. But they are going to get swept or lose in 5.

Scoring - Edge Pittsburgh
Defense - Edge Pittsburgh (yes it is)
Coaching - Draw
Goaltending -Edge Ottawa
Grit - Pittsburgh
Forecheck - Pittsburgh
Experience - Pittsburgh
Clutchness - Pittsburgh

Ottawa is MUCH MUCH slower than NYI ...they don't play the same style at all... and they don't attack like NYI either...they counterpunch...thats the strategy and Pittsburgh can match that play...

Pens in 4/5

The only good thing for us is we put a lot of shots on net, a lot. So to me it really depends if your goaltending holds up or not. If it doesn't we actually have a chance, if it gets better we're screwed.

My frienemy - OmniSens - must be lurking somewhere.

Pens need to flip a switch or Ottawa will make them pay for their absurdly TERRIBLE play.

The teams that the pens really struggle with are fast agressive teams that force pittsburgh to play in their own end. philly, nyi, and toronto are 3 teams that give the pens fits in this area. A team like Ottawa is a team that i think the pens prefer playing.

Offensively it's a landslide for you guys. But we are much more physical than the Isles and our defense is much better than New York's. I don't need to explain the goaltending. I think the first round would have been a much better draw for you guys with us, but now that it is in the second round, it's more even. I just think your higher end talent up front will be too much in the end.

We shoot a lot of pucks to the goalie's chest. That's why we ranked 1st in shots per game, and 27th in goals per game during the regular season.

It's all on Anderson again. Has to stand on his head or else this won't look pretty.

How Senators will win:

1. Paulrus plays mindgames and Pens start Fleury.
2.Senators only ever score to lead by one goal, making sure Fleury stays in net
3. ??????
4. Round 3

Putting a lot of shots on below average goaltending is still a good strategy. We went up 1-0 on Montreal in game 5 due to a shot at Budaj's chest and a Smith rebound goal.

After seeing the isles basically walk around the pens defense on multiple occasions, I don't see why the Sens can't win this series in 5 or 6 games. Pens played an uninspired brand of hockey versus a young, inexperienced but motivated islander team. And they almost lost that series.

This should be a good series. Sens are great at closing the space between themselves and the other team. They also have better defense top to bottom, better goaltending, and a better coach. Maybe Spezza comes back and gives them an elite 1st line as well. Still, Crosby and Malkin if they are both going are tough to match up with.

Damn Sens fans are a bunch of naysayers.

I have always been taught D and goaltending win, and both are on the Senators side. Plus, and it is a huge plus, the Sens are physical were the Isles simply were not.

This is a terrible matchup for the Pens, Sens in six.

We won Game 4 from a random shot on net. Turris was basically hoping to keep it in the zone at that point.
