Oddly enough I think Bernier would cost less and would be under team control longer. I like Miller though.

Sens are a much different club compared to the Isles. I actually expect the Pens to lose if they play like they played this series, although I expect the Pens to play on a higher level.

Lol at the attitude from these fans.

Do they know that Pittsburgh played like hot garbage? My god I was praying that the Devils would somehow sneak in and get the Penguins, wouldn't be scared at all.

Congrats to the Isles for a great season.

Orpik with the amazing interview. Good on him to give credit to the Isles - they definitely deserved the win. I hope that interview sparks the team to play to the level they played in the Regular Season because if they do, they can beat the Sens with ease. Else, the Sens will steamroll us. They will not only work as hard as the Isles, but they actually have a better goalie that will keep them in the game with timely saves.

Orpik single handedly puts to bed years of playoff frustration for the Pens. A major tuning point. Good night ghost of Volek.

It's a shame that generally good Pens fans have a few bad eggs that just hang out here and stir up some trouble. Great series and im proud as an Isles fan to have brought it to a great game 6. To all the good hearted Pens fans in here congrats!

Well, they certainly won't have the goaltending advantage against Ottawa. Boy, did Nabokov kill us. Too many weak goals, and not many big saves.

Awesome series and the Isles and their fans were great. Funny that that the ones flaming the Pens aren't even Isles fans.

Islanders just got stolen..

I expected this serie to go in six, but i didn't expected Islanders being such a big bully and outplay Pittsburgh this way, 4 games counting this one.

A big respect for this team, and also a big respect for the fans, you could not get louder, they gave all they could 'til the end.

A great serie, intensive and surprising, that could have been easily in 7 tonight if Nabby would have been more agressive.

Islanders have every right to be proud. This was a great learning experience for them. Pens have gone through the same thing. This will only make them better.

That being said...you put one hell of a scare into the heavily favored #1. My hats off to ya.

Ugly series for Pittsburgh. I don't see how they beat Chicago or LA.

As a fan of the Pens, I never felt comfortable at any time after the Doug Weight rant on the bench until the Orpik goal.

Islanders were great. Deserved a better fate, but that is the game. It goes that ways sometimes. Sometimes for you, sometimes against you.

I firmly believe you have to lose a tough series before you really learn how to win. Watch out for this team in the coming years.

Agreed. It was such a great series and lots of intense, on-the-edge moments. You guys definitely deserved the series win but it shows a lot of class on part of Isles fans to come out and congratulate us instead of being frustrated that your team lost despite outplaying the opposition. The only ones stirring up trouble are fans of other teams.

Two things can happen from this series. Either the Pens learn from it and come out playing at their level, not underestimating their opponent, or they come out even shakier thinking they can win even with piss poor defensive play. Hoping its the former.

As much as I dislike Sidney Crosby the guy is just ridiculously the best player in this league. I don't respect his antics, but have tons of respect for his skills and desire to win

However for the rest of the Pens I have little to no respect especially for Kunitz. He was good for about 5-6 spears this series, and Cooke no explanation needed.

The Islanders have nothing to be ashamed of, and we will get better this offseason, and yes to Miller or Bernier.

They didn't convert in multiple games when it mattered, their D was soft and terrible, their goaltending was just as bad as fleury, and Capuano refused to change his goaltender. They could have easily won this series with Poulin playing in next the last few games. And that weak call that caused the PPG in game 4 didn't help :p

Hope the islanders are better next season

If the Isles had had average goaltending, they would have taken this series. Mind you, if the pens had "ok" goaltending they would have won this in 5 or less.

Boy were the goalies bad in this.
