No problem with that tbh, he's been our best forward. I swear I'll kill a kitten if Nash and Callahan continue to dangle and not take shots. Guess what guys, you're allowed to shoot, you don't need to carry it into the net.
He has a bad shot and isn't a good passer. It's really unacceptable for him to be out on the powerplay except for taking faceoffs.
Seriously. I was so disgusted with that **** powerplay. Not one good look. Cally taking bad angle shots, what else is new? Where the **** was Moore and why were Girardi, Beaver, and Del Zaster out there for so long?
Our PP is bad because our players are bad. Pretty simple.
I hope you're either joking, or just irrational out of frustration. We have very talented players, but they have no idea how the hell to work a freaking power play. They constantly stand still and don't shoot. I saw Richards hold the puck for about 5 seconds when he had a decent lane to shoot and look for a deflection, but he just held onto the puck. I understand if you have a player directly in front of you to pass it, but with that, you move yourselves to create a lane.
The Rangers just aren't capable of creating any sort of consistent offense on the power play. It's like they throw crap on the wall and hope some of it sticks rather than finding something that works and to be consistent with it. This isn't like the Isles power play yesterday where they had numerous quality chances but couldn't punch it in, this power play looks plain bad. And this is on home ice, too!
