Voted Burish/Torres/Galiardi/Sheppard/Wingels/Desjardins. DO NOT want Gomez back. Kennedy would be fine if they could stash him in the AHL for emergencies.

My lineup (barring any major trades):
Galiardi - Thornton - Burns
Marleau - Couture - Havlat
Torres - Pavelski - Hertl
Wingels - Burish/Desjardins - Sheppard

Though... I think they should try and see if there is a trade to be had or a free agent to play with Couture, especially since Havlat will inevitably be injured. Then you could start the year with;

Galiardi - Thornton - Burns
Marleau - Couture - New Guy
Torres - Pavelski - Havlat
Wingels - Burish/Desjardins - Sheppard

And call Hertl up when Havlat goes down, giving Hertl a little time in Worcester as well. Win-win.

Want to see Torres, Gomez, Galiardi, Wingels, and Sheppard.
Could live with Desjardins.

Meh restructure the lineup by having three scoring/defensively responsible lines? IMO we really need to drop either Boyle or Havlat. As for right now, I'd be moving Havlat/Boyle IF we can pick up some FA players (Which is highly doubtful) So Fantasy? Something like this?

Marleau - Couture - Wingels
Stalberg - Thornton - Ryder
Torres - Pavelski - Sheppard
Galiardi - Desi - Burish

Vlasic - Braun
Stuart - Burns
Boyle - Tennyson/Demers/Irwin/Acolatse/Petrecki

Niemi/Stalock

Or Without Boyle

Marleau - Couture - Havlat
Stalberg - Thornton - Ryder
Torres - Pavelski - Wingels
Galiardi - Sheppard - Burish

Vlasic - Braun
Stuart - Burns
Demers - Tennyson/Irwin/Acolatse/Petrecki

Niemi/Stalock

Desi played well in the playoffs but there's just no there, there... sharks need at least some scoring ability in the bottom 6 and he just isn't filling the bill. Unlikely that Gomez comes back. I like everyone else. Wingels is someone could be added to any trade that comes up. Ideally the sharks are adding Nieto and Hertl to the bottom 6 at some point. Or maybe adding them moves someone else into the bottom 6.

Torres, Galiardi, Sheppard, Wingels. Maybe Burish. Don't want to see the other 3 play for the Sharks ever again.

Desjardins does seem to take some horrendous penalties, especially in the offensive zone, and especially at the worst times...

Almost has no on-ice awareness at all.

Gali, Torres, Wingels, Burish (strictly for faceoffs/PK). I think the bottom 6 needs to be more in your face play style wise. Desi was like that but his game has regressed and Sheppard is trying to play that way but I think the Sharks could upgrade those two. Gomez isn't a bottom six player even though he was a good player for the Sharks this year.

This. And Burish too but he's ridiculously overpaid.

He was effective til he nailed Fraser behind the net...then his game went down hill.

I would keep Desjardins, Galiardi, Sheppard, and Wingels. Torres is too risky. Gomez needs a specific set of players to be his wingers for him to work well and that's unlikely now that Hertl is coming over. Burish is overpaid for what he brings and way too long of a term. I'd buy him out with the amnesty. How they replace the other spots in the lineup really is dependent on their plans for Boyle then Burns then Galiardi based off of what happens with the prior two.

Ok. I'll Keep Wingels, Desi, Torres and Gomez. I think we need two 35 - 45 point forwards for scoring depth.

Marleau - Thronton - TBD
Coulture - Pavelski - Havlat
Torres - Gomez - TBD
Sheppard - Desi - Wingels
TBD

Why do so many people want to keep Galiardi? He had 5 goals and 9 assists during the regular season, and only 2 points in 11 games in the POs. And thats while being paired with Thornton and Burns. IMO if we keep him, he needs to be put back on the 3rd or 4th line and put a real top 6 player to pair with JT and Burns.

Galiardi doesn't play on the first PP. He scored two less points at ES than Thornton and Burns.

he was effective in that role, there were numerous scoring plays where he did the dirty work in order for the chance to happen. There were also even more plays were his lack of finish completely killed the play......but on the other hand he scored 2 of the most beautiful goals of the year, his snipe on Quick and that amazing backhanded goal late in the reg season (against the Stars maybe?)
At times he can be physical and chirpy and other times he just doesn't seem to care at all.
Just don't get the guy.

If we could package him and Demers for a good, young winger (Grabner, Wheeler, maybe even a guy like Clutterbuck) I would be all for it. Otherwise let him see if he can continue to elevate his game in that role...and I hope we could sign him for around 1.3, hasn't proven to be worth more.

He only played with Thornton and Burns for 18 games and he had 9 points in that time. He's only 25 and he's restricted so the cost to keep him will be low. He's got a lot of room to grow and plays a style that helps Jumbo while keeping Burns out of a role that would kill his production as well. Playing the first fore-checker is not conducive to point production.

If they decide to keep Burns up front, they need to keep that line together and let Galiardi get better. He has the makings of a 20 goal scorer with Thornton even in that role. Putting him on the 3rd or 4th line is a good way to kill the confidence he has coming off the way he ended the season. If he's put on a 3rd line, they'd need Pavs on it and they'd need someone like Gomez on it who can be the play-maker. Historically, he's been with guys like Wingels, Sheppard, Desjardins, and the like and that's not going to help him out.

He's on thin ice, any new suspension given to him will be very lengthy, i.e. waste of cap space/roster spot. I'd still give him a 1-2yr contract but he wants more.

And what's happening in your avatar?

The edge he plays with. He is not effective without it. When he plays with it, he is susceptible to supplementary discipline and it will continue to be significant games lost when it occurs. Without the edge, he is a huge floater and it does impact his offensive production.

An iconic picture of Jagr with some woman is being replicated by Hertl.
